How had this even happened ? 

That had been a constant thought running through the back of his mind. They had gone out to find a Christmas Tree and here they were in the middle of...gods only knew where. Were those people Vampires ?The dark haired man frowned and glanced to her making eye contact as he nodded towards their passing landmarks to make sure they knew where they were going. His voice was low as he leaned as close as he could get to speak to her. “This doesn’t have something to do with the Faculty does it, love ?” 

He gave the woman or was she more a faint nod of his head as he adjusted the coat around him. His boots crunched dead tree limbs under foot as he walked with her into the woods. “Do you mean the trees.” his golden gaze travels to the heavens and than back to her. “I have heard of something like this, before. However I always find it an oddity, since a sort of self induced hysteria often befall those who experience mushroom spores and the like.” he gave a faint smile “Mainly, I wish to see for myself if it is supernatural...or if science can solve this.”
