I cannot believe that I woke up this morning as a mom. I mean, I know this isn’t my first time experiencing this but somehow it still feels entirely different. I’m actually a mom. And a wife. I’m seriously in disbelief and filled with utter happiness.

So the life of a mom has been pretty great for you thus far?

There’s no better feeling than knowing that I just married my best friend and I get to spend the rest of my life with him. Not to mention that the day was made even more special by the fact that we got married on our two year anniversary. I’m never coming down from cloud nine.

The last two years with you have been the best two years of my life so I have no doubt spending the rest of eternity with you will be anything but amazing.

Oh my god. Seriously? I didn’t even know. And now I feel so bad because I sent her a text calling her a bitch the other day. It was jokingly, you know? She wasn’t responding so I called her that but I didn’t mean it and- wow that doesn’t even matter right now. Is she okay? How long has she been there? When’s she coming back?

Ariana, it’s okay. I’m sure she would understand that you didn’t mean it in a malicious sort of way. She seems to be getting better every time I visit her which is good. She left on the first of last month and she’s supposed to be leaving on Sunday.

Oh, whoa. What is she away for exactly?

She was struggling with PPD so after she finished filming for the fashion show, she went to check herself in.

Yeah, no problem. Did you want me to just meet up with the girls and check everything out?

That’ll work. Just get their opinions on which one they like the most.

I think I’m finally starting to get a hang on this new mom thing. I’m not worrying about not being a good mom anymore and my hours of sleep have improved. I mean, I still get just a couple of hours but it’s more than what I started with and any sort of progress is good, right?

Believe me, it’s amazing progress. A couple of hours felt like heaven to me when I managed to get that much.

I’ve been tired all day long so I, stupidly, decided to take a nap while I was waiting for my dinner to finish cooking. Bad. Idea. If it weren’t for my smoke alarm and dogs barking, I would’ve set my whole kitchen or possibly house on fire. This is why Ashley Victoria Benson shouldn’t be allowed into the kitchen… at least without a good night’s rest.

Common sense just went out the window for you, didn’t it? Who sleeps while they’re in the middle of cooking?

I’ll be home for a few more days but maybe like on Friday?

Friday is works fine for me.

Where is Ken in all of this?

Away at a treatment center.

What? She’s in Illinois? Why?

She went to a center to help her get through her PPD.

Believe me, you don’t want my help with planning the wedding but I can watch my Henderbabies if it’s needed.

Watching the twins would be nice but aren’t you on the other side of the country now?

Can you help with the dresses? Kendall had some picked out that were her favorite for the bridesmaids but I don’t think I’d be cut out for that particular task.

I can easily help you with the twins and maybe even wedding planning if you need assistance. But why are you doing all of that by yourself in the first place?

Take your pick with either one because I will love you for helping me no matter what. Uh, Kendall’s away for a while. She’s up in Illinois.
