Waxing and Waning

it’s hard to think about this in the moment when you’ve had an awful day but my go to rough day move is thinking about the date. so say I had a rough day today, August 6th, 2018, and it was a really hard on me. i say f*ck August 6th, 2018 because this day was terrible and the absolute worst August 6th, 2018 I’ve ever had! but the thing is is that I’m never going to have another today. there will never be another date exactly like today so I cannot have the same day. I will never feel as exactly as bad as I felt on august 6th, 2018 again. once I go to sleep it’ll be a different day and I can breathe again. not because everything is magically fixed but I’m officially one day away from my terrible august 6th, 2018. and i know the further i get away from that day then the less i’ll remember about how it felt to feel so bad. august 6th, 2019 might be a wonderful day i don’t know.  we can’t relive days and we can always start over the next day. whatever is hurting you today won’t be as fresh as it was when you wake up tomorrow. f*ck august 6th, 2018. make august 7th, 2018 a good one.
