Yunneth wasn’t even going to respond to that. If she was called a delinquent, she would have just rolled with it. It may have gotten a chuckle out of her. But a criminal? That seemed a tad too far for her. When asked if she thought she could run from him, what was stopping her from trying? Though when he told her to just let him come with her, that was when she felt the most annoyed.

“What happened to being wrong and to stop doing what I was doing?”

She questioned. Just a moment ago he wanted her to stop and to leave but now he wanted to go with her so she could do what she wanted? Was he trying to appease her or was he just flakey?

“I’m sure Amaimon won’t mind, Egyn. He’s pretty nice–once you get past his quirks and stuff. I guess that thing is true about some sharing likenesses to their King…Though I’m not as quirky as he.” It wasn’t too horribly fancy, but it had nice atmosphere. A waitress brought them to sit down, asking if they would like something to drink, to which case Summer responded with unsweetened tea.

“Ugh! Criminal?! Of all the…no. No…I am not even going to rebuttal. Criminal…i never!”

Yunneth took the comment with great exception. When told she needed adult supervision, the raven clicked her tongue, her prickly side coming out.

“I don’t need supervision. I can take care of myself. For the most part anyway.”

She didn’t need adults. Not for protection anyway. She didn’t need them to protect her then and she feels she didn’t need them now. Perhaps it was her bitter feelings from her early days but she felt she didn’t need the extra hand; that she had to handle everything alone. Part of it was she felt herself a hindrance but her sense of independence played a big role too. She just wished this mystery man would leave her be. Slowly, her pace would quicken. This was a personal time for her. Why couldn’t he just leave her be?

“But you are a criminal in the eyes of your laws. You’re breaking into property and trespassing.” Egyn replied without constraint as he shook his head at her action.

“Maybe! I was invited by Aniue to go traveling the world with him, and I did promise to show him the caves, too. Maybe you can come with us? I mean, he’s technically your brother, too.” She offered him inside, after tracking in herself. Since, well, Egyn was a man of particular honor, he would’ve insisted ‘ladies first’ and the like. “Natalie said that’s where the eggs were found. Behemoth’s, I mean.”

“Hn. I imagine few could get pass a barrier by the second strongest of the Eight Demon Kings.” His voice was even, neither criticizing nor insulting. Only observing facts.

A fey like him probably wouldn’t be affected by such a barrier, but he never had reason to get close. The academy was steeped in iron and humanity; Razkiel rather preferred the sanctity of the forest.

“Alone?” Razkiel smiled. “On a lovely night like this? The moon is high and the sky is sugared with stars. In fact, I was just about to head over to a vantage point which boasts a dazzling view of the city. Would His Royalty care to join me in a little stargazing?”

He let out a laugh at this. “A high level like myself? Yes I would most likely be like a pigeon flying into a glass window.” Egyn responded honestly. It was true though. You wouldn’t normally feel it there, therefore those who were high enough to be affected would be breaking their noses against the thing.

“Hmp….”

Yunneth huffed. She didn’t care what the other said. Perhaps she wasn’t being entirely selfless when it came to her hobby. She would be willing to admit it. She doesn’t do it just to it solely for the spirit’s own good but she had her own motivations. She did it to feel closer to “him”. It was a form of mourning and just a way to carry on something special. She did it for other reasons as well. Of course…she could explain but why should she justify herself? 

“…He’s just like that man…”

She thought to herself.

“How irksome. I’ll just go elsewhere if this place is under that watchful eye of yours…”

She was tired of arguing and fighting. Weary of going in circles. If he would not at least agree to disagree and let her go about her business then she would carry on elsewhere. Oh hot she hated conflict. Not because she couldn’t win all the time. Just for how pointless it could get.

“Sorry to burst your bubble, but knowing that you’re going to go breaking into places means I have to keep an eye on you now. Normally I’d mind my own business, but it’s my specialty to weed out criminals.” If he had to treat the child as such then he would. Samael should know better than to let such risky behavior go on.

“It’s better to get a name wrong than have one they can remember but question why you have such a name even if it’s a common word.” The number of times she’s heard jokes about her name really irritated her sometimes. “My scent,” normally it was her presence or ability that gave her away along with her words during her encounters. “I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you aren’t very human either, right? You can’t just out me for having a lack of humanity and not expect the same in return.” Her original hunch, back when he first questioned her existence, about him being something different as well had only grown.

“It is a find, let me tell you. It’s a Father-Daughter kinda place. Like a Family owned establishment… And I was with one of my friends.” She smiled warmly, watching the male as he seemed to relax around her. That was…Actually quite nice. 

“Well…” She started, shuffling her hands into her pockets while smiling. “For one, everyone thinks it’s all cold. Really it’s not. It has a lot of mountains that are inactive volcanoes, though. There’s a place called the ice caves and they’re really pretty. Russia is a pretty country in general, a lot of fishing villages, too. There’s even a holy mountain with shrines dotting along it’s back. Natalie said that’s where the lab was. And despite what people think, Russians are quite polite. We’ll help you even if it’s completely out of our way. There is grumpy people though. The mainstream media likes to portray Russians as either brutish and dumb or super charming and manipulative. We’re really just…People. We love our beef, and are afraid of wolves.”
