Distinguishing facial features: Multiple scars; most noticeable ones being over his left eyebrow, across the bridge of his nose and a gash on the left side of his upper lip. He uses his hands when speaking, especially when irritated. He sniffs when amused rather than laughing. His jaws jut through his cheeks when he's concentrating or tense. His face is often hardened but when he's at ease or in a moment of having his guard down, his features and eyes soften making him look more boyish and gentle. How they see themselves: Roman often struggles with his self-image. Because of being a demon he knows there's a darkness inside him he can never truly have control over or get rid of. He romanticizes humanity and wishes that he was one, so there's a lot of self-loathing involved with his existence itself. Even with that being the case he sees himself as different than other demons (namely Lucifer's loyalists.) How others see them: Also depends. Angel to some, demon to others type situation. Favorite person/least favorite person: Camilla Remington is absolutely Roman's favorite person. He has plenty of people on his end that he actively loathes and hates but his least favorite is probably Dean Winchester. Do they fight with fists or fight with tongue?: Depends on the circumstances. Due to Roman's internal struggle with the darkness he tries to avoid conflict if he can and will try to have a battle of wills through words instead but he'll fight, maim and kill if he absolutely has to. Choice of weapon: Being a demon Roman has powers that come from Hell. He can throw people around without touching them, has the strength to rip flesh and break bones with his bare hands. In fights with other (dog) demons like him he's all teeth and all claws, he'll try to go for the jugular to end the fight before too much blood is spilled. If he's in a situation to just use weaponry, he'll use knives that he keeps on his person. He also has a Glock 17, AK and an AR-15. Allies/Enemies: Roman has multiple allies (humans and demons who are part of the rebellion against Lucifer). Most of Roman's enemies are Lucifer's loyalists like Lilith, Caim and Alastair but he has as many enemies as he does allies. Favorite song/book/art: Roman listens to a wide range of music, he has a peculiar fondness of Blues. Roman also reads a lot, he has a fascination reading about Ancient Greece. Roman doesn't really show much interest in art; he's more captivated by the earth around him. Roman's a demon that was part of a revolt in Hell. He and demons like him slaughtered legions of lessers to escape the Pit and flee to earth. They had knowledge of Lucifer's plans to escape the cage, so their time since being free has been to prevent his prison break and preserve the planet and humanity from the destruction that would certainly follow. They're not like other demons in the sense they try their best to not cause any harm to them, they're simply refugees trying to live amongst humans without disrupting their own way of life. Roman follows orders from demons above him in the hierarchy like Jethro, Axios and Valec. Jethro is basically first in command, and Roman has always done whatever he tells him to knowing that Jethro will do whatever needs to be done in order to prevent Lucifer from taking over Earth and destroying humanity. He spent years doing so and also actively seeking out different hunters to try and warn them of what was happening "downstairs", only to be met with hateful rage and disbelief.
That was, until Camilla Remington (family friend of the Winchesters and another household name down in Hell) accidentally summoned him by slip of tongue rather than the demon she was trying to summon who'd killed her father. Their very first meeting Camilla stabbed Roman in the chest with a knife out of outrage and grief, but even in the midst of her fury Roman could only feel a sense of pity over her situation (being the last of her family after having lost her father.) The pairs relationship evolved from severe hatred and dislike to reluctant allies and eventually Roman begun realizing that he was falling in love with her; an emotion he was never familiar with and one that was alien to him. It was one he grappled with for a long while until finally giving in during one of Camilla's moments of weakness. Roman considers himself like a pet dog to her now; some demonic malinois with a rabid tenacity toward anything that seeks to harm her. His involvement with Camilla had him gain a closer relationship to the Winchesters and he learns there's a much larger picture in Lucifer's plans to take over earth and the inevitable battle that would take place between the Heavens and Hell.
Roman's entire existence now firmly rests with protecting those he loves, the planet in which he resides and humanity as a whole from Hell itself. And he'll go to any lengths to ensure he succeeds.
