After 2 projects, I tend to think of everything in a series of storyboards. I found out it's hard work to combine and visualize all these ideas into coherent concepts.Â

Just reading some design posts again. Been to the book fair, and art gallery. It resparked my curiosity for things not immediate in my circle of studies.  Â
Building on Prof. Bau class on Monday. I realize there's lots of business opportunities out there just because every service could be improved. About the undercover shopper, when I was watching the conversation between the host and the business owner, I begin to think of tactics to diffuse and convince a left brained inclined person argument, when they provide statistics and hard nosed data.Â
I'm guessing using customer stories as a starting point, eventually bringing them to a design safari for their own personal experience, and amping up on your group's pitching skills, and finally using empathy ( a speaking technique that completes and acknowledges that persons hard work, truly looking from his point of view, building rapport and progress form there ) to diffuse tension and resistance.Â
More thoughts on hard nosed data. Logical/ Deductive reasoning driven from the past vs abductive reasoning = creation of the future. Idea from The Design of Business, Roger Martin.Â

Rough notes to recompile, what I got from Professor Bau's class is his and Ken's sense of the world. What really stuck is Prof.s' presentation of the 7 problems, and designers user-centric, customer satisfaction sense.Â
I also gain some direction and action steps from Profs' slides.
Observing problems in everyday life.
Bring research to life by story-telling, and infographics.
Gonna look into these 2 since they're not my strongest points.Â
