I rarely post, but I need a rant.
You know what’s hard?? Living in a house with your boyfriend, his parents, his younger brother, and his brothers girlfriend. Harder than that? Struggling to pay your bills even though both you and your boyfriend have jobs. Now don’t get me wrong. I am working part time. But it’s at $15/hr. And my boyfriend is on commission pay. He works so hard to make as much as he can. Still. We can’t afford to move out of his parents house. Between my student loans(that I can’t pay) and how much apartments cost in Tampa we don’t see us moving out for another 6 months to a year. Which is really frustrating. It’s not that I don’t like his family, it’s just that we need our own space. I think anyone could sympathize with that. But what is really frustrating. Is seeing his younger brother and his young girlfriend doing even better than us. They are out looking at apartments. And getting new cars. And new tech. And they aren’t in debt. And it’s frustrating to see two people who don’t have college degrees making more money than us. It’s not that I’m not happy for them. It’s just frustrating.
