The boys from Our Vinyl were back in Em2 this month to record The Lonely Biscuits. Fun times and radical music were had by all. Check out the rest of the session at ourvinyl.tv.

24HR Records takes 3 musicians from 3 different bands, and challenges them to write and record a number of songs in 24 hours.

It was a pleasure having the whole team out to Em2, and the music that was created in those magical 24 hours is out of this world.

This Sunday, Em2 was alive with music. As the season turns and the weather changes, Ex Mero Motu manifests feelings of seclusion and focus for those who create. No matter the temperament of the weather outside, Em2 is always exuberant with creativity.

Anna Haas just ran a great piece in No Country For New Nashville, and tells about her experience at EM2.

"It feels almost church like. It’s tucked in the middle of the woods, with an epic view of the Tennessee valley. It was an incredibly calming yet powerful place to track my new single. Where I record is really important to me. I need to feel safe to be able to completely let go, and I need to feel inspired. This studio is the epitome of inspiring."

Last week 24hr Records came out to Em2 to record a session with musicians Butterfly Boucher, Jonathan Haidle, and Robbie Cook. 24 hours plus 3 badass musicians equals great tunes.

24hr Records will begin to release their video series in October, and the episode featuring Em2 will be released sometime in November. You will get to see some of the ups and downs and the trials and tribulations that go into a 24hr Records project. You will also get to hear the great material that comes out.

As we roll into summer, Em2 is still looking as beautiful as ever. More and more music is being created here on a daily basis, and we can't wait to hear the next thing.
