Chiyo and Tamaki are two very different people: while she grew up on a farm not spending much time with her parents, Tamaki grew up in the lap of luxury and spent a lot of time with his mother. He only just recently moved to Rosedale, while she’s lived in the small town her whole life. While he seems to think every girl enjoys being showered with romantic compliments (no matter how false they may be), she really only finds that stuff charming in fiction. Their friendship is an interesting one, to say the least.

Chiyo admires Yuyuka’s sense of style and often goes to her for fashion advice. The two like to go shopping together when they get the chance.
