Upgrade Alexa Application
· If your Alexa application version is expired, check the available updates. You have to reach the Play Store or App Store to look for updates and fix the issue.
· Once restart your device before using Alexa again.
Install the Alexa Application Again
Uninstall the Alexa app from the device. Then restart your device and open your Play Store. There search the Alexa application and install it on your device.
Sign-in the Echo Device Again
Go to the Amazon site on your browser.
Then , navigate to the option of ‘Manage Your Content and Devices’ and then select your Devices.
Select the Echo dot device and click on the vertical ellipsis menu icon.
You click on the De-register option.
Then, verify you would like to deregister the device.
It free the Echo device over the account of Amazon, and you need register it again as a new device.
Fistly disconnect and later connect your Echo.
You need launch the Alexa application on the mobile/pc.
You have to select the ‘Add Device and pursue the steps.
If your Alexa is connected to multiple echo devices, it is possible the wrong Echo is responding to your voice instructions. If you want, change the wake word and you can set individual allowed wake word for each Echo device.
