Yes they are! I don’t have many drawings of their current design, but i do intent for them to stay a couple

Moxxie is 36 (which is roughly 54 for imps) and millie is 22 (about 33 for imps)

These are their old (and outdated) designs tho… Mil’s outfit is loosely inspired by Pam’s from texas chainsaw hehe

I wound up making moxxie look older and added digitigrade legs, and made millie more robust and took away the lips, eyelashes, and other details that i retconned for imp morphology lol

One on the left is a prairie dog, one on the right is a redbone hound ^^

My fav detail is prairie dog man’s boots, theyre cowboy boots with inspo of qing dynasty footwear hehehehehhee

Imps are bipedal reptillianesque creatures which were originally created by Lucifer to be a sort of bastardization of the human race.

Fun fact: scars and large horns are desirable traits in common imp society!

Bakhtiar is a researcher who spent the better part of their afterlife researching hell’s biosphere and the regeneration qualities of sinners

Born March 15th, 1842 in Wermelskirchen, Prussia

Died September 23rd, 1888 (age 46)

The youngest of 8 children by far, the second youngest sibling was 8 years older than him.

Only really was close with his second youngest sister, Greta.

Greta ended up dying of scarlet fever when he was 6 and she was 14.

Middle class upbringing

Not very good-looking, not overly charming either.

On the more introverted side, though he is good at talking business.

His parents died when he was 18

Using what they left him in their will, he went to the UK for university.

Used higher education as a distraction, didn’t have a passion for his studies initially.

Attended the University of Edinburgh, School of Engineering.

Courted a woman for a few years while attending college

He thought of marrying her, but she ended up being betrothed to another man she had no feelings for. She moved to another part of the UK afterwards, leaving Patrick heartbroken.

Returned to Prussia shortly after

He was very depressed at this point, so one of his older brothers introduced him to a daughter of a friend of theirs.

Her name was Susanna, and she was 8 years younger than him.

Patrick and Susanna fell deeply in love shortly after meeting, and ended up getting married close to a year later.

Moved to Wuppertal after getting married and started working as a coaler and machine manufacturer.

Felt self-conscious about how much money he was bringing in and felt like an inadequate breadwinner.

Began not laying his workers suitable wages and selling faulty machinery to sweatshops in order to rake in extra cash.

Became paranoid his actions would cause the people around him to conspire against him.

Had lots of fertility issues with Susanna, and many of their children died in utero or shortly after being born

Eventually had a son, Heinrich, who survived.

Patrick was a good father and husband, but a shitty person outside of that.

Eventually, Patrick died due to a carbon monoxide leak in his office while working.

Sir Pentious

After his arrival in Hell, Pentious lost his mind. Due to lasting effects of CO poisoning, he suffered paranoid delusions and memory loss of most of his mortal life, including memories of his wife and son. He holds the belief that most of his fellow sinners are his enemy. His mechanical engineering skills have persisted in his afterlife and he is bent on creating war machinery in order to secure his self-defense. He is introduced to Novus’ ward when one of his employees is caught scoping out their land for mineral deposits.

One of my biggest problems with how hazbin handled him is that like. They kinda didn’t let him be a bad person… Like, he’s this big megalomaniac who presumably participates in turf wars, only to reveal that he was just this uwu baby loner who watched a woman get murdered and he doesnt have to atone for all the shit he did in hell???

I mean that could be a cool point for another character, but having this guy’s sin be THAT??? What a let down

Also his human design was nawt doing it for me, so i sent him to the beach that makes you old because i designed him before s2 came out

I wanted to focus more on his paranoia for my version of Pentious, as I thought it would be a good way to play around with his canon eye motif. I originally gave him physical eyes all over his body, but I decided to make it more of a pattern on his body, since the extra eyes would be 1. Hard to draw and 2. Wouldn’t really make sence for the worldbuilding i have on why sinners look the way they do.

^^ some of my earlier designs for him, I leaned more into the snakey appearance for his head shape and got rid of the eyes all over his body in place of an eye pattern

For his human story, I decided pretty early on that I wanted him to have a wife and child. I thought with his memory loss as well as his actions in Hell would be a cool point of internal conflict to focus on with his story.

With his design from when he was alive, I really wanted to play around with the more historically accurate styles of men’s hair and facial hair hehe, of the pictures i’ve longest men’s hair would’ve been grown out to was around jaw-length, but the FACIAL HAIR ON THE OTHER HAND!!! So many possibilities!1!!!1!! I decided to give him mutton chops, since I already had that sorta shape going on with his face in his sinner design, so i carried it over here.

I wanna say Pent died around 5-6 months after Heinrich was born, and after his death Susanna went to live with her brother where she raised Heinrich with him.

Vox is a russian man who died around 1761

Valentino is an Italian man who died in the late 1970s

Carmilla is a Spaniard Roma woman who died in the 1470s

Lafayette Freeman “Husker” Hughes

HE/HIM, Demisexual, Demiromantic, 6’3” (in life), 4’8” (sinner)

Born February 3rd, 1903 in Itta Bena, Mississippi

Died April 1st, 1977 (age 74)

Worked as a sharecropper for most of his life before his 40s

Met his wife Henrietta as a child. She pet-named him “Husker” after his strength.

A smooth talker in life.

Had 5 children in life (Mary, Henrietta Jr., Michael, Jonah, and Isaiah)

Did scammy roadside card tricks on the side.

Wasn’t conscripted for WW1, but was drafted in WW2 when he was 39.

Sent home 14 months later due to shell shock and a shot hip.

Believed himself to be a coward upon coming home.

Picked up binge drinking and gambline

Is a nasty drunk, got into arguments with Henrietta and yelled a lot.

Gambled away lots of his household money.

Henrietta ended up leaving Lafayette when he was 48, and his children followed suit

Used his street card tricks and military pension go get by while he spent his coin on booze and gambling.

Has a bad limp, but refuses to use a cane.

Learned a variety of languages as a hobby (French, Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Choctaw, and Navajo)

Presents himself as a very proud man, and doesn’t let anyone close enough to see his true feelings.

Ended up developing hepatitis and ARBD and was put into the care of his oldest child, Mary.

Mary thought of him as a rotten old man and urged him to change his ways before he died.

He ended up developing cirrhosis of the liver, and later died of liver failure.

Husker

As a sinner, Husker was blessed with great luck, and he used that to his advantage through winning people’s souls in bets and opening up a casino in his name. His hubris came back go bite him when he got on the bad side of the Radio Demon. He eventually lost his soul in a deal with Al and became his pawn. Despite his harsh demeanor, Husker sucks up to Al’s almost every whim. He was brought to Novus’ ward as a concierge by Al, although he seems to despise this position and binge drinks during the little time he has for breaks.

I wanted to make him look more like an old geezer than how canon did, as you can’t really tell his age from anything other than his voice.

I wish they gave him some kinda gut in the show tbh… like. He’s a raging alcoholic let him at least have a beer belly ‼️

I wanna say he had to sell his casino to another owner after he lost his soul and his fortune, i’m thinking to another cat-like sinner woman 😼

Im gonna make it so he learned hellish (the language that many hellborn as well as older sinners speak, kinda like a Hell Esperanto typa thing) shortly after he died.

Fun fact! The imp lady you can see him with in the pic still works at the casino, although she is much older now (she’s the stout yellow one in the image below ^^)

Id say that HuskerDust wouldn’t be canon in the course of the story, although i do kinda ship him and Andy. I kinda just wanna see them being old men with each other and stuff lolol

Born to an upper middle class family

Has a thick NJ accent

Got pregnant at 14 and gave birth to a son, Samuel.

This was a scandal in her local community and Samuel’s father refused to take responsibility of the child

Miriam raised her son to the best of her abilities, but she wasn’t a great mother, often getting her own Mom to raise him for her.

Became a silent film in her late 20s

By 1917, Samuel had joined the United States Army for WWI, and had died early on in battle.

Following Samuel’s death, she fell into a deep depression where she gained a lot of weight due to stress and sedentariness.

Miriam was later fired and fell into obscurity due to her weight gain and absences from work.

Miriam began ended up frequenting jazz clubs and bars where she’d dance.

She met Al when she was dancing one night and they ended up courting and getting engaged.

Her depression ended up spiking again eventually and led to her taking her own life.

In Hell, Mimzy continues to hoard items from the progressive era and constantly acts like she is still in her prime. It seems like she has phased her financial problems and the death of her son out of her memory. She constantly changes her cause and age of death to make her death sound more tragic and make her seem younger. She and Al are no longer in a romantic relationship and do not talk often, but they are still close when they do meet up.

The first thing i wanted to tweak about Mimzy was her design, like. She just looks like some lady with black eyes… so i made her a dragon hehe :3

I wanted to make her a dragon to symbolize her hoarding tendencies, as many dragons (at least in western mythology) have been seen to hoard things like coins and other riches.

Early on in making her, I’ve wanted to make her and Al be fiancee’s in life. Idk, it just felt right
