Cold Turkey

well it has been quite a while since we last blogged and rather a lot has occurred! At long last we are no longer niggas in harris but sauchiehall street sluts! We had a disney themed flat warming party, which was..messy in more ways than one. 

We also went on a holiday to Kos, with some of my (Alex's) school friends. I did the stereotypical thing of getting a tattoo abroad...though this was not a rash, drunken decision. Lauren and I had a bet which I unfortunately lost, so now have Laurence the dancing light bulb tattooed on my foot. 

In Kos I developed a bit of a thing for Chicken which unfortunately led to food poisoning on the second last night.

Kos, as predicted involved several drunken nights out. And one particularly drunken night ended with me (Alex) falling and hitting my head of the marble floor...it was slippy. 

Lauren of course, maintained dignity and didn't have a single drunken embarrassing moment...oh wait...

Though not our pictures involve us being completely intoxicated! We did have a few sober moments doted around. 

And the award for photo of the holiday goes to...

But it is save to say we had a interesting time and luckily had Nikki as a lovely little photographer to document all the moments.

And after a week it is save to say we were ready to come home..

Before I begin I would like to say - Laundry forced me to write in third person because she wanted it to be from our prospective. 

So Laundry and Alex decided for our second night back on the shandys we would hit a rock club...not really Alex's scene she must say but she reluctantly decided to attend. After drinking too much jager and playing a destructive game of higher or lower. Stomping boots and heavy eyeliner at the ready we hit cathouse.

It is safe to say the crowd were a lot hairier and a little bit rougher than what we're used to at good old Garage. A rush of excitement swept over us when a song came on that we actually recognised. 

Regardless of the strange atmosphere, we all managed to pull that night, some of our standards were slightly higher than others and it is safe to say that Alex got ripped by Fiona and Laundry for pulling a "Mr Tumnus look-a-like." 

It is safe to say she had some faun that night!-ha ha ha...very funny Laundry. 

Where do we begin? To say last night lived up to expectations would be an understatement. We stared the way all good nightsshould start..with a jagerbomb. A bottle of jager, gin, vodka, jack daniels and cactus jacks later we were left with this...

  We had many exciting escapades last night and I managed to make up with the Kelso lot...then unfortunately messed it up about 10 seconds later but that is a story for another day. Prior to this we partied at our flat for a while and it pretty much looks like an alcohol bomb has been let of in Laundry's room. 

Unfortunately the first casualty of the evening was Laundry's drawer as someone (who's identity is not yet known) was sick in it, that's just what you want to find when you're hungover the next day. 

Also! Who could have for seen this! Short Arse (everthing-changed-again) got drunk! My my, now I've seen it all!

If you recall "Navy boy" from our sober night out, he unfortunately made an appearance in this tale, when I thought it would be a good idea to call him. No idea what I said to him but as the youths say, "YOLO".

We also had some interesting cocktails last night that still remain in Laundry's room. I am curious to try them but there is some suspicious looking gunk in the bottom of the glass.

After getting shut down by security twice and dressing our flatmates up in tinsel we decided we should move along to a new flat to reak more havoc. Laundry proceeded to impress us with her delightful interpretive dance dressed as Justin Bieber while I proceeded to lie on the floor. 

After more shinanagins we swapped flats yet again and continued drinking for another 2 hours and reached the dreaded DMC (deep meaningful chat) territorty- the talks you have where you share your feelings and you hope to god no one remembers what you whittered on about in the morning. After 7 and a half hours of drinking all we were left with was beer and a tiny bit of jager (which I guarded with my life all night) so that had to do. After returning to the flat I thought it would be a brilliant idea to sleep on Laundry's drink soaked floor. After all this I still made it in to uni for my 9am class! proud of me. Laundry on the other hand stayed put in bed, tut tut tut.

It is safe to say we were not feeling all that great this morning but after a China Buffet King, the Wizard of Oz and deodorant, we are feeling much better.
