my blog is just one long love letter to myself and all the people i used to be

There’s no reason why you can’t get to know yourself the way you would anyone else. Ask yourself what your favorite color is, what your favorite movie is and why, what you want to learn, what you regret, what your goals are, what you find important and what you’re scared of; compile a notebooks of lists (“yellow things I saw on my way to work” or “colors that I think compliment my skin tone”); record happy moments and take pictures of completely random things that make you feel something. Sometimes we feel so far removed from everyone else because we just can’t seem to fathom that we’re alive like they are. Maybe this’ll help.

you never know where you’ll be in a year, so don’t worry too much about that. just work with what you have now, the good and the bad. we only have to go one day at a time.
