I first became a fan of Audrey Hepburn in 2013. That was the year that I first watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s. In 2013, I saw Audrey Hepburn as an amazingly talented and beautiful actress. As I studied up on her more I saw the amazing things she’s done for the world. Raising money through ballet, going against her parents Nazi ideology, and working with UNICEF (only to name a few). I am honored to be able to run a blog about this influential woman. Tomorrow my account turns 1. But more importantly, today Audrey Hepburn would be 87

I hope one day the world is full of women like Audrey Hepburn. She's remembered as beautiful, but she honestly changed the world.

Audrey Hepburn rejected her parents’ racist ideology. Her parents were fascist supporters, but she supported the resistance. During Roman holiday screen testing she recalled that as a teen she would do ballet for those afraid to clap (because of Nazi enforcement) and any money she received from her performances she sent to the resistance. She moved to Holland where, later, the Nazis attacked. Her thin figure is actually a result of the malnourishment caused by the food limitations set by the Nazi’s.
