I've been playing a lot of Resident Evil Revelations lately (gotta love the nautical setting), which may explain why I just had a dream that was a parody of classic survival horror:

There were three characters that needed to figure out how to open a locked door, and in typical survival horror fashion Character A finds a personal diary of someone that recently died next to the door, that they start reading expecting to find clues on how to open the door...

...but it's just a regular, personal, private diary. They just find very personal and painful-to-read information, but Character A keeps reading expecting to find how to open the door eventually. Characters B and C end up going somewhere else to solve a puzzle that does end up opening the door, but when they get back they find Character A having gone full stereotypical gossipy teenage girl mode, laying on their stomach on the floor with their legs raised and kicking, one hand turning the diary's pages and the other with their phone chatting with someone about what a bitch whoever wrote the diary was (bonus points if they never even met them).

I'm now imagining this with the Helluva Boss trio, Character A being Blitz who at the end is phoning Stolas (who is also in stereotypical gossipy teenage girl mode but laying on his back on the floor of the office reading magazines about cute men)
