I couldn't figure out why J was upset when I put his pants on after he went potty and just assumed he was simply having an emotional breakdown over a toy or something as he kept falling to the floor and crying. Trip to Texas
I was sure that one of two things was going to take place on the incredibly long road trip down to Houston with our 8 month old beast of a puppy Nick. 1) I was going to suffer a severe anxiety attack, screaming or crying the whole way there Or 2) Nick was not going to arrive with us because he'd have been handed over to the first person that even smiled at him...and if that didn't happen soon enough he would have mysteriously gone missing.
However, there is a greater power out there that must have been concerned about the fate of both he and I (well and the unborn child inside me) because Nick was practically an angel... I mean, that doesn't even seem possible with this crazy pup, but the boy slept and slept and honked his duck and slept some more. And then to boot, I was stuffed up from seasonal allergies and couldn't smell him until we were right outside city limits. Amazing.
So here I am in H town alive and well.

Now that I feel that I have reached the last of what's left to go of extra/forgiving/elastic skin anywhere on my mid section, it makes me grateful that since I was young I could push mys tummy so far out that I could pass for preggers. I guess at some point no matter how much cream you use one must accept the inevitable stretch marks of pregnancy.... as of today, going into my 25th week I have zero.... but I just don't see how a belly growing at the rate as mine is could last much longer.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Never feel self-pity, the most destructive emotion there is. How awful to be caught up in the terrible squirrel cage of self.
