β love you so much that we want you to shower now β¦! we have a whole day planned so be quick ! β dohoon hurried the boy as he inched closer to me . the moment kyungmin left , youngjae took a seat next to dohoon , snacks in his hands as he turned the television on .
before i knew it , dohoonβs eyes were glued onto the television as youngjae turned on a romance drama . i took this opportunity to slip out of dohoonβs grip and woke the other guys up from their sleep .
β ah β¦ han yn stop running away ! β dohoon yelled from the living room as i giggled , waking dongmin up before running back down .

β iβm here ! β i sent a text to the group chat and shinyu replied with a thumbs up . within a few minutes , shinyu came running out with a cake and a staff member β β ynie β¦? β i looked up in shock , β siyu eoni β¦?! β i pulled her in a big hug as she cried on my shoulder .
i slowly rubbed her back to console her but soon detached herself as shinyu started going over the plan again . i hummed and nodded my head to each word he was saying , paying full attention as soon youngjae came out .
β yoje β¦! β i screamed in a whisper as he ran towards us , β the members donβt have a single clue β¦. jihoonβs sitting in the corner playing with kyungmai and dohoonβs β¦ heβs just scrolling on his phone endlessly . β he said as i hummed .
β my part is all done β i have the decorations ready in the green room and shinyu has the cake . β youngjae whispered as we all nodded . β i havenβt replied to him in three days , i feel bad but this is gonna make me feel better . β i mumbled as the three rolled their eyes .
without further ado β the cake ended up in my hands as siyuβs hat was placed onto my head to cover my face . shinyuβs thick jacket was placed over my shoulders to mask my perfume scent and youngjaeβs glasses was placed over my eyes .
with the two of them leading , i hid behind them as they entered the green room and i stayed at the door . the lights were suddenly turned off and that was my cue to walk in β i felt nervous , my feet dragged along the floor as the staff started singing a congratulatory song .
i walked to the middle and the members finally noticed the lit up cake , everyone was in awe . the cake was congratulating them on their newest comeback and to thank everyone for their hard work .
i looked up and saw jihoonβs face plastered with a wide smile , next to him was dohoon who had a half smile . β congrats on your comeback .. β i mumbled and dohoonβs eyes landed on me , boy was i shaking .
as soon as the song ended , the six guys surrounded the cake β making a wish before blowing the candle . the lights were turned back on and everyone started getting a piece of cake . i stood at the side , they all looked good β¦ they were in the middle of recording their music video too β¦.
β hey , hereβs a cake for you ! β jihoonβs voice rung in my ears as tears welled up in my eyes . he held the plate infront of me β smiling widely before taking my arm and dragging me to the middle of the room where the other staff were seated at .
β thank you . β i said a little too loudly and jihoon turned his heel , facing me completely as he scanned me . β hyung , why is the staff using your jacket β¦? and youngjaeβs glasses ? β jihoon asked as kyungmin stepped closer β followed by the others .
before i knew it , my phone notification went off . i took my phone out and it was a notification from dohoon , a picture of him with the cake . β thatβs dohoon hyungβs picture β¦? β hanjin announced from behind me as dohoonβs ears perked up and peaked over .
dohoon inched closer , slowly taking off the jacket and removed the glasses from my face . a gasp left his mouth as we made eye contact , β no way β¦? β the smile on his face grew wider the longer we stared at each other .
β baby ? β dohoon voiced out the moment he realised i was frozen . before his hand could land on my cheek , i cried a puddle of tears before wrapping my arms around his shoulders .
his whole body melted into the hug as he pushed his head into the crook of my neck , crying ever so softly as his tears dampened my shirt .
β you know whatβs funny ? i actually wished we could meet earlier β¦ β dohoon confessed through sobs as he pulled away and cupped my cheeks . β funny β¦ i guess iβm your genie ? β i smiled as soon the others jumped towards me with hugs and smiles .
β okay okay β¦ everyone step away from my girlfriend β¦ β dohoon said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him . β she was my best friend first β¦ β jihoon mumbled as dohoon stuck his tongue out at him .
soon enough , everyone had to go back for the shooting but dohoon stayed back with me . we sat down next to each other on the couch with my fingers interlaced with one anothers , his thumb rubbing against my hand as my head found comfort on his shoulder .
β how did you plan all this β¦? and you ignored me for three whole days β¦ β dohoon pouted as he laid his head above mine . β surprise ! yuya and yoje were in it too . so is dongmin but that surprise is for later β¦ i ignored you because β¦! i need this plan to work and it did . were you surprised ? β
