im taking this moment to remind y’all i’m still fucked up over the first clexa kiss bc lexa goes straight in for the kill when clarke was a little oblivious asshole and they get so lost in each other that you sort of forget the entire context like it’s such a good kiss you wonder how they Did That in the middle of a war and planning a bunch of battles and trying for an alliance and lexa looks so vulnerable despite being the one who initiated it when clarke doesn’t look vulnerable but is the one to pull away and it’s so intense yet soft and the little nose bump always gets me because it’s like lexa wanted to stay as close as she could and everything looked so soft, lexa’s plump lips, clarke’s pretty and more importantly clean blonde hair, the way lexa doesn’t just go at it halfway but puts her hand on clarke’s face straight away, keeping such a tenderness that it looks like she’s scared of breaking her so she just cradles her face and how they held each other hips, how they looked AFTER, like lexa was so into the kiss im pretty sure she would have nodded to anything clarke would have said bc homegirl looked high as hell on a new drug called klark kom skaikru and clarke,,,,clarke looked like she was battling between her angst and the fact that the fine ass commander just laid one on her right in the middle of a philosophical talk about the concept of survival and what makes life worth something and you can see how tentative it all is as if it’s a thing so fragile that they could destroy it if they weren’t careful so you got them both in battle gear being So Soft nurturing this little blooming thing that made it all warm and oh so soft and i Love It
