Also stop glorifying our mothers, grandmothers,great grandmothers, etc because they “stayed” or “worked it out.” Some of them didn’t have the resources to leave their terrible husbands in the first place.

many of them lived in a time that just normalized that a woman was supposed to expect a shit life, stop perpetuating that normalization and thrusting that on the next generation who seriously deserve better

“My grandmother was abused her whole marriage and didnt have the resources to safely leave” is a fucking tragedy, not a point of pride.

i’ve never pretended to have good taste.. i know everything i like is garbage but i’m having a hell of a time!
