— college!sam who can never seem to keep his hands of you !
The dorm room still felt warm and foggy from the shower you had just taken. Steam clung faintly to the mirror above your desk and the air smelled like vanilla body wash and coconut oil. Your roommate had left earlier for the night, mumbling something about studying in the library and probably crashing at her boyfriend’s place, which meant the room was quiet and yours for once.
You stood near your bed wrapped in a soft towel, skin still damp as you rubbed lotion slowly into your arms. It was one of those everything showers where you did every step. Shampoo, conditioner, shaving, exfoliating, hair mask, the works. Your skin felt soft and warm as you smoothed scented oil over your legs, taking your time.
On the chair beside you sat the clothes you had picked out. An oversized sleep shirt and a pair of soft shorts. Comfortable but still cute because Sam was coming over.
Your phone lit up on the nightstand.
Your stomach fluttered immediately.
You quickly slipped into the shorts and shirt, fingers still a little slick with lotion as you worked moisturizer into your hands and collarbone. The scent lingered around you, sweet and clean.
A soft knock sounded at the door just as you were brushing your hair.
You smiled before you even opened it.
The moment you opened the door Sam was already smiling down at you like he had been waiting all day just for this moment.
He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your lips before you could even say hi. It was quick but warm, the kind that lingered just enough to make your chest feel light.
“Hi,” you said, smiling so hard your mouth started to hurt.
He stepped inside your dorm room like he belonged there, glancing around briefly before heading straight for your bed. Without hesitation he dropped sideways onto it, long legs stretching out comfortably.
He looked up at you innocently from the pillow.
“You have your shoes on my bed.”
He blinked once, then looked down at his feet like he had just noticed.
You crossed your arms, trying to look serious.
He huffed out a quiet laugh and sat up, tugging the sneakers off quickly before tossing them near the door. Then he flopped back down again with a dramatic sigh like removing them had been the hardest task of his life.
“There,” he said. “Happy?”
He turned his head toward you then, watching as you rubbed oil into your legs slowly. His expression softened almost immediately.
“You smell good,” he said quietly.
You glanced at him. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” His voice dropped a little. “Like really good.”
Your cheeks warmed. Sam stretched one arm out across the bed toward you, fingers opening and closing slightly.
“I’m still getting ready.”
He groaned dramatically and let his head fall back against the pillow.
“I haven’t seen you in forever.”
“That’s forever,” he insisted.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help smiling as you rubbed lotion into your shoulders.
“I’ve been studying,” you reminded him.
“Midterms are ruining my life,” he muttered into the pillow.
“You’re not even taking my classes.”
“Doesn’t matter. They’re still stealing you.”
Sam turned his head again, watching you carefully. His eyes followed the slow movements of your hands as you smoothed the last bit of lotion into your skin.
“Come cuddle,” he said again, softer this time.
He sat up slightly, resting on his elbow now.
“You said that five minutes ago.”
You grabbed your lip balm from the desk and applied it while he continued staring at you like a lost puppy.
“Please,” he said again, dragging the word out. You raised an eyebrow.
You laughed again, shaking your head. Sam reached toward you again, fingers stretching across the mattress dramatically.
“Come here,” he insisted. “I missed you.”
Something in his voice made your chest soften You finally walked over to the bed and climbed onto it.
Sam immediately shifted, lifting the blanket so you could slide underneath. The mattress dipped as you settled beside him.
You nudged him lightly with your elbow before turning onto your side. Sam wrapped an arm around your waist instantly like it was the most natural thing in the world.
You reached back and tugged the blanket higher “Get under the covers properly,” you told him.
He slipped down beside you until both of you were fully tucked in, his chest warm against your back. His arm rested across your stomach while your legs tangled with his.
You grabbed the remote from the nightstand and turned on a random movie, the soft glow of the screen lighting the room.
For a while you talked about your day. Classes, studying, the professor who assigned way too much reading. Sam listened quietly, occasionally humming in response while his thumb rubbed slow circles against your side.
The conversation faded as the movie started playing.
The room felt calm. Warm. Comfortable. Sam buried his face lightly in your hair, breathing in the scent of your shampoo again.
“You smell so good,” he mumbled.
You smiled slightly. A few minutes passed. Then you felt something hard and firm press against you from behind.
Sam immediately hid his face in the crook of your neck.
He tightened his arm around you slightly, voice muffled against your skin.
You huffed out a quiet laugh, your hands slowly creeping in his pants.
