it wasnt even like a narrative parallel between cas and collette like thats what gets me. it wasnt like a cas/ruby situation where ur like yes dean gets an angel sam gets a demon their stories parallel etc. got it. its never explicitly stated but yeah i got it. no with cas/collette they simple like. state. that cas is dean's collette. like with words and dialogue explicitly. like . like. how do i even. she wasnt even an angel like theres no other.. its just. cas serves in this story. the same narrative purpose to dean. as cain's wife collette. and . and cain says this out loud he says hey. my wife collette? u have a wife too. castiel. of course. of course!
