He held up his hands in surrender. "Search me, then, if it'd make you feel better." He hadn't brought anything, not this time. Probably a foolhardy thing to do around the wizard, but he didn't care. ". . Have you ever thought about braiding your hair?"
Tiny shifted uneasily, frowning. “W-what?” She asked, squinting at him in confusion. “No… Why?”
"Mm, just a thought… ." he murmured softly while studying her hair. He gestured abruptly for her to come closer, with an air not unlike a parent calling a child. "Let me see."
Tiny drew back a bit defensively. “W-what? No…” She frowned at him. “Why?”
The necromancer let out a small aggravated sigh, gesturing again with an increased impatience. "So I can braid your hair," he said flatly, like it was supposed to be the most obvious thing in the world.

I’ll try to keep the recede to a minimum, but thanks to a lot of changes earlier this year (moving, parents’ divorce, etc), I’m not sure how that’s going to impact my usual holiday routine, so just a heads up if I seem less active in general this month (not that I’ve been terribly active what with my horrendous procrastination of replies |D;;; ). December is usually a busy month for me, though.

During a fight with an enemy on top of a high building, Person A fakes out the enemy by stepping off the edge.
Person B sees this, and impulsively jumps after Person A, thinking Person A is about to die (if they’re either trying to save Person A, or deciding they don’t want to live if Person A is dead is up to you.)
As they’re both falling, Person A attempts to shield Person B with their body, all while Person B is babbling teary confessions of love/goodbyes.
However, the impact still kills Person B, leaving Person A covered in their lover’s blood, holding their lifeless body.
Onlookers watch in horror as Person A stands up, completely unharmed, clutching the mangled corpse of Person B as they start to sob uncontrollably.
