If Peter was a dancer...

𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓴𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓼 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓽 𝓶𝔂 𝓲𝓻𝓸𝓷 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽

“And I just thought about you on the way.” All Peter had to do was think of Tony and he “just stuck to the side of the ship.” He wanted to help protect Tony because he knew Tony would try to take on more than he should, like he often does.

"Tony, I'm not with you because of your money-"

Tony said, "Yeah, you like what's between my ears and between my legs. I get it, Pete. You'd be with me even if I didn't have a cent to my name."

"Then why are you always trying to buy me stuff?" Peter asked, "Or trying to make me use your money to buy myself stuff?"

"You want the honest truth?" Tony asked.

Peter nodded.

Tony raised a brow, "You really wanna know the truth so bad?"

"Yes!" Peter said, exasperated and curious.

If he expected a heartfelt answer, a melancholy monologue about how people used Tony for his money, he would be sorely disappointed. Because Tony's response was:

"It turns me on."

“I remember one of my first days sitting in that big room, and it’s just all these men around the table and her. I thought ‘okay well that’s a good place to start isn’t it?’ She’s gotten here. How did she get here in this room? She must be super ambitious. And also why is she super ambitious? What is she looking for? When I did some backstory with Tony, you realise what she came from. How important it is for her to be in control, to be seen, to be seen as somebody who is excellent.

For me, to just play Dedra as like a ‘baddie’ didn’t make any sense. People do things for reasons, y’know. I had one scene where I’m humiliated in a work meeting, and you see [Dedra] go and take a second. Her resolve is gonna go, she’s gonna maybe cry. And there’s no way she can do that in this place. So you have to allow the audience to see the battle that she has with herself to hold it together.”
