Life is full of twists, and there is no map

Clare: "I know. There are just some people who you can tell would be difficult to live with. I don't want to inherit a pet snake for example." [Smiles still feeling caught off guard.] "Aww. Thank you. I was hoping you'd call. I think we'd have a really good time watching old movies and having that karaoke party. It would be like a never ending sleepover." [Pauses.] "So all I have to do is say yes and the room is mine?"

Clare: [laughs.] "It's crazy. I looked at a good amount of apartments so I know how hard it is to find a roommate." [Bites her lip. There was only one other possibility and she hadn't given the girl an answer because she was waiting to hear from Alli.] "Really? That's great you found someone...wait you mean me?" [Clare asked, obviously surprised.] "Out of all the applicants I was a perfect fit? Or at least the best one?"

“Of course.” He gives a nod of his own.  “I heard that you were one of the smartest people, at Degrassi, so I knew that you’d be able to help me.” He admitted.

Clare: "The downside to having a room for rent near the college. They're in demand!" [Chuckles even though her heart is sinking.] "I'm sure you were able to eliminate some people after meeting them in person." [Hesitates.] "Did your search go well?"

“You sort of, have to.” He admits with a small smile of his own.  “Yeah, that sounds great.  Thanks for helping me.”

Dallas: That's because we really haven't.

Dallas: But it's fine, yeah today supper is great.

Alli: Then I'm glad we're getting this time to ourselves :)

Clare: "Yes, I'm Clare." [smiles nervously when she hears who it is knowing Alli has probably made a decision by now.] "Hi Alli! How are you?"

Dallas: Of course.

Dallas: Anything for you.

Clare: [answers the phone on the third ring.] "Hello?" [Sounds a little uncertain because she doesn't recognize the number.]
