I receive a man who wants to do the work of walking out his salvation, God. Who is brave and honest and understanding, hardworking, self-aware, intelligent in all aspects, meek and kind and slow to speak and quick to listen and realizes the impact he has on him and those around him and therefore thinks before he acts and speaks. Someone who finds solutions and protects me physically and emotionally and has a heart after pleasing you, God. Someone who wants to be like you, Jesus. Who knows his greatest gift is service and sacrifice and finds contentment and joy in doing the work of growing your Kingdom. Someone selfless and spiritually mature who doesn’t have it in his nature to gaslight or manipulate or curse at me. Who knows the weight of doing so and would never take for granted the gift of a virtuous wife that is me. A man who knows that hurting me is hurting me is hurting you is hurting himself. Someone who reveres you. Someone made new in you.
