Haechan’s chair scraped across the floor as he stood, glass in hand and garnered the attention of everyone in the room with a light tap of a spoon against the rim of his champagne flute. “Just wanna take a quick moment of your time to thank the grooms for inviting us all to such a beautiful wedding, and to express my gratitude for the trust with the very important role of best man. I knew I wouldn’t let you down, but I bet you were sweating bullets entrusting me with the job, huh?” Snickering, Haechan wriggled his eyebrows at Jaemin, before shooting a wink the man’s way. “Of course I’d never let you down, though. Never have, never will. You’re a better friend than I ever tell you. And I couldn’t be happier that you discovered your forever in your best friend. If anyone deserves that happiness, it’s you two. Two of the nicest, most genuine and loving people I could ever hope to meet. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, but don’t doubt you’ll get just that. I love you both to the moon. Congratulations on your wedding. I wish you both all the luck and love in the world. To Jaemin and Jeno Lee!” Holding his glass aloft, he sent the grooms a warm, fond smile then drank to their happiness, but not before clinking his flute to his husband’s. @jaemvns
