That FD event was what we deserved. My Disco Brits getting bronze!!!!! H/D being sent the message that once again their programs are crap! And while it's hard for me to root for P2, despite appreciating their innovative skating, I'm pleased for Piper. Her reaction to gold was great. (Also I'm here for H/K not getting the Zhulin bump and being marked properly)

How. The. Hell. Can the judges justify the PCS they gave Trusova?? I mean, she'll win anyway with the tech score...don't insult my intelligence pls.

- Ok, so H/D’s FD is a miss for me. Their actual skating is as impressive as always but to me there’s been no nuance in their last two FD’s. It’s not as horrible as last year’s, but right now it’s...empty? I’ve also disliked their last two RDs. A lack of inspiration, I think, which is just as much their coaches fault. Meanwhile, their competition get better and better.

- Who else was reminded of the Blades of Glory Marilyn program when they saw H/D’s RD?

- I continue to love Stepbuk; I don’t care what anyone says. Prefer last year’s programs, but at least they bring the DRAMA. And yay they deservedly won the Free Dance!

- It makes me laugh how much Lolo and Nik’s scores jumped once they became Canadian. But in truth they’ve improved a lot and have finally been given programs that suit them and their powerful skating. Still get the feeling he’s a dick, though.

- Here we go again. I actually really like Nathan’s FS but it’s really hard to ignore the ridiculous GOE those jumps are getting. And the PCS being above Jason’s is CRAZY. Nathan is so talented, he doesn’t need this BS push from the USFS and ISU. Also, I’m suspicious of someone who hates sparkles so much. You’re skating to Elton John FFS!

- So happy for Jason getting silver after the concussion issues.

- I was literally crying throughout Keegan’s skates. I don’t know how he got through them. 

- Thank god Peng/Jin won. I love them so much. I loved them before it was cool to! My heart stopped when she fell so badly on the throw in the FS.

- The judges really be coming for Liza. Sure, her PCS is never going to be great but her jumps are amazing and what the hell having Bradie so far ahead  That lutz in the SP was never an UR.

- Bradie with the leading PCS of the FS? Oh yeah, we’re in the USA.

- I was so happy for Wakaba in the SP. And so devastated in the FS.

- I love Kaori’s programs this year. Please let us see them skated clean!

- I also like Anna’s FS. It really suits her and I generally HATE Danny G choreo. Great job on the quad lutzes.
