Bonefall's Clan Culture Masterpost
I'm making open-source guides that expand on the culture of the warrior cat clans, generally staying within the capability of cats with human-level intelligence living in Northern England. To do this, I research a lot of bushcraft, stone age technology, the flora and fauna of the British Isles, and the effects of different plants on cats.
Can I use these for my projects?
Yes! I make these guides exactly to help and inspire those looking to make their own warrior projects. I love being @'d so I can see what you create with my stuff.
The List of Running Projects:
1. Clanmew, a Clan Conlanguage
Pronouns, inclusion, "threat-level"
2. Warrior Bites, meal guides and how to prepare them.
3. Herb Guides, how to treat and medicate beyond the color coughs
Hormone Replacement Therapy for Transgender Warriors
Epilepsy (includes non-medicinal treatments)
4. Clan Crafting, how to make neat stuff!
And here's some more stuff I've done that's cool but unorganized because they were done before I was actually running a series.
Beekeeping: The utility of honey and wax
Waffling about timekeeping and seasons
Waffling about familial terms
Waffling about Primrosepaw
Domestication (insects, goldfish, and the practicality of keeping mice)
A little about flea control
If you like anything I'm running here, feel free to drop me a suggestion or ask me a question!
Gee Whiz Bones, I would like to see more of the things you do
Please check out my Bonefall Rewrite, my attempt to redux the Warriors series while keeping major events the same. It includes all sorts of good stuff, like untangling the family tree, expanding on the spiritual elements, revamping the warrior code, and Speckletail attacking a bulldozer.
My Clan Culture series is separate from the Bonefall Rewrite, there's no need to memorize one if you're engaging with the other! But they're both my babies, I often reference them between both projects, and I'd love if you checked the other out!
