“I studied art in Florence, that’s why I thought a lot about the meaning of this painting and I thought she’s the perfect woman. So, I talked to myself ‘Why not?’ Why can’t I be Botticelli’s Venus? I can be perfect even with all my imperfections. In the end, all women can represent this figure.”

Now here is her reaction when I ask her if “she’s ready” before I throw it. She knows what it means.

all the women that had to grown up being super self-aware of what they wear, what they think, what they say, how they act, where they are, with whom, etc in every aspect of their life, all the time, in this sexist society (especially women of color, non-straight women and trans women): good. finally you all have to learn how to behave.
