Hi! im not a cómic reader too, and you're right! they didnt even interact in the MCU, and barely in the cómics. Most of winterhawk shippers born from "tales of suspense" a cómic about Natasha and were Clint and Bucky appears and had A LOT of weird moments. The we had Marvel Rivals and thats why winterhawk shippers came again from the dead.

Bucky and Clint are both Nat's ex boyfriends, also.

I love how Hyperion, both the episode and the guy himself, was Hawkeye's Bi panic moment

And then later

Near the end when Hyperion was captured

And then Thor (who is another big strong hero like Hyperion) winks at Clint too and Clint is like "He just winked at me. Why is everyone winking at me??"
