megan gets there 30 minutes into danis shift and dani isn’t happy 🫩 “sorry im-“ Youre Late” “I know but” “just- get in here I’ll teach you as we go” megan sets the wood crate down dani didn’t notice she was holding until it’s taking up counter space, her eyes close with a sigh before wordlessly moving the box off and down the back of the little bar at makeshift storage

megsns mouth opens and dani hands her food service gloves “put these on after you wash your hands”

danis already getting a headache, busy mall and music playing from stores all around them.

she’s going to save her money and open her own juice bar at a beach, maybe back in cuba. brought back some peace from the mental image she looks at megan again, wet hands sliding on clear gloves and nervous smile on her face towards customers lining up

maybe she won’t give megan the task of cutting up fruit.

megan takes orders and turns her head to relay them to dani, dani cuts the orders and blends them for ten minutes and it all flows smoothly.

there’s a break in customers and dani puts her hand on megans shoulder offering her a water “you’re doing really well, wanna use the blender?”

it’s not the most convenient order of things. megan takes the order and dsni cuts the fruits then megan moves from the front to blend and cup the smoothies and juices. but it works. by the end of three hours and the end of the shift their little routine works.

megans charming, the customers love her even if there’s some spillage of the cups ‘sorry it’s just.. some extra love..! it’s oozing with it!’

megan finds her crate again at the end of her shift and holds it to herself “um.. I’ll see you in a couple days with some more”

Danis confused but megan says a lot of stuff thst doesn’t make sense to her

a FaceTime from sophia and she’s met by apologies and big boba eyes and dani doesn’t really get it

“she couldn’t come but she’ll be here tomorrow”

then dani notices how many missed calls and messages she has from sophia.

(ik we already talked about this but) now im thinking of farmer megan... with her little jean overalls, a sleeveless top underneath and a cowboy hat, sweaty, all covered in dirt, with a slight southern accent, like the one she does... she would have the funniest tan lines too, her lil nose and shoulders covered with freckles because of being out in the sun so much.

her growing up and working at her family's farm, them mostly working with animals but megan started growing tons of fruits on her own and every sunday she has her little place at the local farmer's market because she likes making jams with the fruits she harvests.... also, megan with a pet goose, and she takes it everywhere...

Daniela never cared for school. She was too popular to care. That was until Prof. Laforteza began teaching her English class.

Suddenly Daniela cared too much. She turned in assignments so early, studied nonstop, answered questions, only to hear Prof. Laforteza’s praise. Each utterance of ‘good job’ or ‘excellent work, Daniela,’ would have her ache for more. But it never went anymore. Daniela didn’t like being ignored, especially by someone she wanted to fucking bad. She knew she had to do something.

She acted out in class. Talking, scrolling on her phone, and when Prof. Laforteza told her to stop and to pay attention, Daniela smirked—the same flashy, bitchy one she always wore around campus—and kept going, agitating the professor. That wasn’t enough for Daniela, it never was. She unbuttoned her shirt just enough to be noticed, but not enough to be dress code. She knew Prof. Laforteza was watching. She melted in that pointed gaze.

After class, Prof. Laforteza kept her back. Before Daniela could ask questions, she was bent over the desk with her skirt roughly getting bunched up. She moaned when Prof. Laforteza’s ruler smacked against her thigh, holding her down with a hand to the back of the neck.

“Needy brat,” Prof. Laforteza seethed, “I’m trying to teach, trying to help your future—and this is what you do? Treat this class like a joke?”

Another sharp smack against Daniela’s inner thighs. She jolted forward, groaning with need as she moved her hips into Prof. Laforteza.

“Am I getting a detention, professor?” She asked quietly, her smirk so prevalent.
