Everyone's Reactions to Yuu Coming Back to NRC
Ace is the first one to spot Yuu walking through the courtyard.
Literally tackles them into the biggest hug they've ever received.
"YOU IDIOT! YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T KNOW IF YOU COULD COME BACK!"
Deuce joins the hug immediately.
Riddle tries to maintain his composure...
...lasts about ten seconds before walking over and welcoming Yuu back with the softest smile anyone has ever seen from him.
Trey already has tea and strawberry tarts prepared by that evening.
Cater has already posted fifty pictures with the caption;
"THE PREFECT'S BACK??? THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!"
Jack immediately notices Yuu's scent on campus before he even sees them.
The poor guy smiles so hard as his tail starts wagging.
Ruggie is convinced he's hallucinating.
"Leona, tell me you see 'em too."
"...Guess Herbivore finally found their way back."
He acts like it's no big deal...
...but later that afternoon Yuu finds him napping in the botanical garden.
There's enough space beside him for one more person.
He doesn't say anything when Yuu lays down too, he only brings them closer.
He almost knocks Yuu over with how hard he hugs them.
Jade is genuinely smiling.
Azul has to remove his glasses because they've fogged up.
He insists he isn't crying.
Floyd immediately exposes him.
"Yeah, definitely home..."
Kalim throws another welcome party.
It's somehow even bigger than the goodbye party.
He doesn't let Yuu out of his sight all day.
But later, Yuu notices all their favorite foods at dinner.
Nobody told Jamil what to make.
"You've been neglecting your skincare routine."
He keeps asking Earth questions.
"Do y'all actually have stores open twenty-four hours?"
Rook dramatically declares,
"The lost star has returned to illuminate our world once more!"
Idia completely blue screens.
"...You're actually back."
Ortho hugs Yuu immediately.
Idia awkwardly holds out a new game console.
"I..I made this while you were gone..."
"...It was supposed to be your welcome-back gift..."
"...If you'd ever came back."
Malleus knows before anyone tells him.
When Yuu reaches Ramshackle,
Malleus is already standing outside waiting.
"Welcome home, Child of Man."
No hesitation nor any questions.
Yuu hugs him before they can think.
He freezes, but then hugs them back.
Silver smiles because it's the first genuine smile he's seen on Malleus in years.
Sebek is yelling complaints at the closeness.
"I told you fate enjoys reunions."
Grim refuses to let Yuu carry their own bags.
"You're home now! That means I'm carryin' everything!"
Five minutes later, he's exhausted.
Yuu ends up carrying the bags and Grim.
That night, Grim curls up beside Yuu exactly like he used to.
"Don't ever disappear again, okay?"
Yuu gently scratches behind his ears.
"I'll stay as long as I can."
The news spreads faster than an overblot.
Students Yuu barely remembers from classes stop them in the hall just to say:
Ramshackle is suddenly full again.
People drop by constantly.
Crowley acts as if he planned the whole reunion.
"As expected of your brilliant headmaster!"
"You had NOTHING to do with this."
