William and Catherineâs old days
Last night I searched the internet. I found â The Road to the Royal Marriage: Prince William and Kate Middleton Throughout the Years! â published on 17 November 2010.Â
March 2004
William and Kate had a getaway to Klosters in Switzerland.
March 2005
Catherine accompanied William and his family on a March 2005 ski trip back to Klosters ahead of Prince Charlesâs wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles.
May 2006
Catherine Middleton was with Williamâs family in May 2006 for the wedding of Camilla Parker Bowlesâs daughter Laura to Harry Lopes.
August 2006
Prince William and Catherine broke out their swimsuits for a vacation in Ibiza during the Summer of 2006.
September 2006
Catherine smiled at her prince after a night out at Londonâs Boujis club in September 2006.
December 2006
Catherine brought her parents, Michael and Carole, to see William graduate from the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, England, in December 2006.
January 2007
William and Catherine departed after another night at Boujis in January 2007.
February 2007
Catherine joined William in February 2007 to watch as England and Italy battled it out on the rugby field.
July 2007
Catherine and Will hit a rough patch in the Spring of 2007, but they were close enough on July 1 of that year for him to invite her to the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium. William was seated with his brother, Harry, while Catherine stayed with royal cousin Zara Phillips. Speculation increased afterward that William and Kate were back on and going strong once again.
April 2008
Catherine was there to toast Prince William when he graduated from the Royal Air Force on April 11, 2008.Â
July 2008
In June 2008, Catherine joined William and their friends to celebrate his birthday at the Beaufort Polo Club.
March 2009
William and Catherine had a lunch day in March 2009 in London.
May 2009
Prince William and Catherine were on hand for the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park in Berkshire, England, in May 2009.
July 2009
Catherine and William kept a low profile during a June 2009 polo match.
January 2010
William and Catherine were together in January 2010 for another Royal Air Force graduation.
March 2010
Prince William vacationed with Catherine and her family in Courchevel, France, a popular ski resort in the French Alps.
October 2010
They made a picture-perfect pair on Oct. 23 of this year for the wedding of their friends Harry Meade and Rosie Bradford near Cheltenham, England.
November 2010
Theyâre engaged! In November, Catherine and William shared the exciting news that there was a royal wedding on the way. While on a Safari trip together in Kenya, William proposed to Catherine with mom Dianaâs 18 carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
The happy couple finally confirmed the good news at a press conference after weeks of speculation. In their engagement announcement, Catherine opened up about the heartwarming gesture. âIt was very romantic,â the British beauty said of the moment that William got down on one knee. âThereâs a true romantic in there!â
The pic with the grandchildren shows they are all looking at something like 3 different cameras... Iâm sure thereâs Zara, Autumn and Kate behind the cameras!
I noticed that as well.
Thinking the picture was taken after the Trooping the Colour. Charlotte has the red bow, they are all wearing the same outfits.Â

Rachel Markle`s `poor me`cards
the so called ÂŽrace cardÂŽâŠ
âŠâAlthough Meghan Markle has situated herself as biracial, the African-American spectacle and glory at the wedding tells another story: that of a proud black woman.ââŠ

the `Diana 2.0` cardâŠ
Meghan Markle, is being âvilified and chasedâ by the tabloid press in the same way the late Princess Diana was, Hollywood superstar George Clooney has told an Australian magazine. Clooney, a close friend of the duchess formerly known as actress Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, warned of âhistory repeatingâ itself with the increasingly feverish media attention on the expectant royal couple.
âI do want to say, theyâre just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere,â Clooney told Who magazine during an interview in Los Angeles. âSheâs a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was, and itâs history repeating itself,â he added.

Meghan Markle arrived at she shower in style - she reportedly flew from London to New York vie private jet for an estimated $ 100,000⊠Meghan Markle has been regularly receiving acupuncture by a celebrity acupuncturist at an herbal wellness centre leading up to the birth, which can cost $8,113 (6,200 pounds) for a year of 45-minute sessions, Lester reported, citing a source.
Meghanâs maternity wardrobe is worth six figures, Krystin Arneson for Glamour reported, citing research by Love the Salesâ blog. Sheâs spent as much on maternity clothes as she has on her entire prematernity wardrobe, which cost $508,000, Arneson reported.
The trademark for Meghan Markle's lifestyle website The Tig has been renewed.
Her business manager, Andrew Meyer, has filed documents in the US using a company called Frim Fram to keep rights to the name until at least 2021, it is reported.

âOn one personal note, may I just say that while I am here with my husband as a member of the royal family, I want you to know that for me, I am here as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of colour, and as your sister,â Meghan Markle said to cheers from the crowd. âI am here with you, and I am here for you.ââŠÂ

Meghan Markle has been praised as an âinspirationâ by Michelle Obama for her charity work.  In an Instagram post, the former First Lady, 55, penned a touching tribute to the Duchess of Sussex, 38, and commended her work during the 10-day royal tour of Africa. Â
Alongside a photograph of the royal attending a reception for Young People at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Cape Town, Michelle Obama wrote:  âThank you to my friend, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex, a thoughtful leader who is breaking the mold and making our world better for it. Whether meeting with our leaders or helping girls around the world seek the education they deserve, she is an inspiration to so many.ââŠ

Hillary Clinton has spoken out about the âinexplicableâ way the Duchess of Sussex is treated by the British media. The former US presidential candidate told The Sunday Times Magazine that she is a âhuge Meghan Markle fanâ.
Meghan Markle has filed a legal claim against a British newspaper group. Markle  is suing the publication over the misuse of private information, infringement of copyright, and breach of the Data Protection Act 2008 after it published excerpts from the letter earlier this year.Â
Meghan Markle's best friends speaks to People magazine about the woman they know and loveâŠ
âŠMeghan Markle has been accused of leaking the contents of the private letter she wrote to her father even before it was published by the Mail On SundayâŠÂ An anonymous friend of the royal quoted the letter during an interview with People magazine back in February. The friend said: âSheâs like, âDad. Iâm so heartbroken. I love you, I have one father. Please stop victimising me through the media so we can repair our relationship.â Markle âcould be asked to swear on oathâ whether she orchestrated the interview, The Mirror reports. Thomas Markle said he wouldnât have released the letter "had it not been for the People magazine piece which meant I had to release portions to defend myself.â
A journalist has claimed that before she became the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle "begged herâ to get her in the tabloids. The Mail on Sundayâs columnist Katie Hind told The Sun she met Markle in 2013, after Markle "hounded" her for a meeting.
MEGHAN Markle was desperate to find a British man before meeting Prince Harry, as it has been revealed that the Duchess secretly swapped messages with X Factor winner Matt Cardle just months before befriending her husband-to-be.Â
One of Meghan Markleâs friends has revealed the Duchess asked for help finding a well-known British man she could date. The English TV personality Lizzie Cundy became friends with Meghan in 2013 at a charity dinner in London, three years before the Suits star met Prince Harry. Cundy told The Sun Meghan asked her if she knew any high profile suitors after divorcing her first husband Trevor Engelson that same year. âWe were having a girly chat and then she said, âDo you know any famous guys? Iâm single and I really love English menâ, so I said, âweâll go out and find you someoneâ,â Cundy said, adding she showed Meghan a picture of footballer Ashley Cole.Â
the `victim` cardâŠ
Meghan Markle has hired a crisis management firm to improve her damaged imageâŠ
In a massive break with royal tradition, Meghan Markle went behind the backs of Buckingham Palace advisers to hire the company, known for using the so-called âdark artsâ of public relations to improve the celebsâ reputations. Chief executive Shawn Sachs and Keleigh Thomas Morgan, who represented Meghan Markle when she was an actress on the drama Suits, have been guiding her through recent high-profile incidents, including a guest edit of Vogue magazine.  âMeghan trusts Keleigh, who got a prime seat at her wedding and sheâs known for years.â
The firm is advising on plans for the new Sussex Royal charity foundation.

The guy D.B. Woodhouse is not doing anything currently except playing the role of an angel on Lucifer - a Netflix show, which is ending soon. So the guy probably needs a job and they have the netfix connection. BTW who does he think he is demanding an apology from the Queen of the U.K. and the head of the Common Wealth, like honey you do realise who she is right? She is a Queen and you are a low level T.V actor who probably most of the Hollywood crowd don't even know about so, yeah you are in no position to demand things from her.
Lucifer!!! I knew I saw him somewhere. Their arrogance is killing me. They are accusing a head of state of racism. In the middle ages, this means war.
Now I am wondering if they are âencouragingâ people who would like a future with Netflix to publicly support them. It is obnoxious for him to suggest a 95 year old grandmother who has served her country for 69 years, longer than anyone, to apologize to someone who couldnât handle it for a year. And what does he mean by âback downâ? How is the Royal Family publicly pressuring them? We are hearing more from H&M than we are from the current royals.Â

Ways Palace Supported Meghan Markle During Her Time in the BRF...
or at least for the first year.
Okay, this is going to be a long list and I apologize for that. There was sooooo  much stuff. Iâm not going to list the standard âbrideâ pr Kate and the other royal brides got like the engagement interview, the regional tour, the royals saying they are so happy, etc.. . Iâm going to stick to events that were out of the ordinary or surprising. Itâs basically a list of everything that made me go, âdaaaaang, she got that?â. Itâs also work in progress so if you remember something thatâs not on the list, please anon me and Iâll add it in.
Lists starts after the break. Itâs just too freaking long to post as is.

How Meghan became the unmerry wife of Windsor
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/how-meghan-became-the-unmerry-wife-of-windsor-q0td0js6m
The honeymoon was over for Meghan even before the wedding according to royal watchers who looked on aghast as the duchessâs dreams met reality at the palace.
Roya Nikkhah Saturday March 06 2021, 6.00pm, The Sunday Times
Before the Queenâs annual Christmas reception for household staff in 2017, aides were told that Prince Harry and his American fiancĂ©e, Meghan Markle, would be among the guests. There were gasps of delight, according to one of those there. The newly engaged lovebirds appeared and could âbarely make their way through the crushâ of courtiers keen to congratulate them. When staff were later invited to enter a ballot for a seat at the wedding, the applications flooded in.
Little more than three years later, that delight has turned to shock and dismay. It has been reported that up to a dozen former royal aides are âqueueing upâ to register complaints about the Duchess of Sussex. Buckingham Palace is now investigating allegations that 39-year-old Meghan, the mother of Archie and now pregnant with the coupleâs second child, was an âoutrageous bullyâ to her staff before she departed Britain last year.
A statement from team Sussex denying the claims said Meghan âis saddened by this latest attack on her characterâ. Meghan has declared it âliberatingâ to be able to speak for herself in the television interview with Oprah Winfrey, which will be broadcast tomorrow in America and at 9pm on Monday in the UK on ITV.
With so many â usually anonymous â people giving their unvarnished accounts of âMegxitâ, who should we believe? Plenty of observers and insiders are pitching in with hearsay but having worked alongside the principals and their aides as the drama unfolded, I have listened to the voices that matter in this war of the Windsors.
There was widespread concern and sympathy for Meghan as she entered the lionâs den of royal girlfriend territory. But even before the wedding the excitement of Harryâs engagement had worn off at Kensington Palace, then the princeâs home. âHalf of the staff threatened to quit,â a former aide to one of the most senior members of the royal family claimed. Another Palace source claimed with uncharacteristic hyperbole that âthe entire household was on the verge of quitting ⊠it was drama, drama, drama with those two.â
Perhaps the most damaging allegation to emerge after the wedding involved an unedifying row between Harry and Angela Kelly, the Queenâs devoted personal assistant. It was apparently over an unscheduled tiara hair appointment for Meghan, and climaxed when Harry was said to have shouted âWhat Meghan wants, Meghan gets.â Claims that the prince ended up complaining to the Queen in a raised voice were denied, but stories of clashes between the Sussexes and staff multiplied.
One incident rang alarm bells about Meghanâs unattainably precise demands. A senior royal source claimed: âSoon after the engagement, Meghan hosted a shooting party at Sandringham for Harryâs friends. She ordered personally embroidered blankets for each of the guests, in red. When they arrived, they werenât the right shade of red for Meghan and she went mental at Melissa [Touabti],â her former personal assistant who is alleged to have left âtraumatisedâ because of Meghanâs unreasonable behaviour. Touabti was apparently not alone: âHarryâs first PA was in situ when Meghan arrived and left within months,â the source said.
A former aide said Harry âbehaved appallingly for monthsâ and that the prince had been ârude, petty and stressed about so many small thingsâ, but when he was made aware of staff unrest, âhe personally apologised to everyone involvedâ. Meghan didnât, said the source, but she seems to have tried to mend fences, once arriving at Kensington Palace at 11am with croissants for staff, declaring: âBreakfast!â Many of the staff had been working since 8am and had eaten breakfast hours earlier.
In the run-up to the wedding, a senior royal source claimed that the Kingdom Choir, who performed Stand By Me during the service, did not have an easy time: âThey had to send her dozens of arrangements. It was never right.â
Even Harry and Meghanâs engagement interview, widely hailed as a joyous display of a couple head over heels in love, did not apparently meet with approval. âShe complained it hadnât gone well, that Mishal [Husain] wasnât empathetic enough, wasnât warm enough,â said the source. The duchess declined to comment on these claims.
After the wedding, early sympathy for Meghan gave way to alarm. âThe family have tried to be welcoming,â a former aide insisted at the time. âAll the staff and principals have genuinely tried to be kind, but she is genuinely unkind back, pitting Harry against them.â A lifelong friend of Harryâs observed: âSheâs changed him. Heâs disappeared, heâs a caged lion.â
There is particular resentment at suggestions that because of Meghanâs African-American heritage, racism may have been a factor in the attitudes of royal household staff. âThe diversity policy in the households is exemplary,â one senior source insisted. âBecause of the Queenâs links with the Commonwealth, and her desire to represent all Britons, they have bent over backwards to be inclusive. It is absolutely wrong to say the Palace is institutionally racist. It really isnât.â But the households have a way to go in making diversity visible: people from black and ethnic minorities in senior roles are few and far between.
Meghan was also said to feel that no one tried to help her to adjust to the regimented requirements of royal and constitutional protocol. âNothing could be further from the truth,â an aide said. Another Palace source insisted: âEveryone bent over backwards to accommodate her â now they feel theyâre being totally shafted and collectively made to look like racists.â Another courtier revealed that the Queenâs then equerry, Lieutenant Colonel Nana Kofi Twumasi-Ankrah, the first black man appointed to the role â who himself may have once felt like an outsider finding his way â was deployed to help âmentorâ Meghan.
âThe Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and William and Catherine all feel desperately sad about it,â an aide said. They were sad with good reason: the estrangement of the Sussexes from the royal family has proved irreversible, and that is why todayâs hostilities are being conducted between palaces in London and a mansion in Montecito, California. âHe canât understand what heâs doing to his family,â a lifelong friend of Harryâs said.
Yet behind all the allegations of the Sussexes behaving shoddily lie awkward questions for an institution that seems to have had a shrewd idea of the reasons for Meghanâs misery, yet appears to have been unable to address them. âShe has no idea about the institution she has married into ⊠she thinks she should be on a level playing field with the Queen and the Duchess [of Cambridge], that the world revolves around her,â a royal aide said when the wheels started to fall off. âWhat she doesnât understand or accept at all is the pecking order.â
Another royal insider suggested that Meghan had joined the family full of excitement and expectation but had not realised âthe rigidity of the hierarchyâ. As a successful, self-made professional, she may well have been disturbed to find herself âquite far down the list in protocol termsâ.
Relations between Meghan and Kate became the object of intense scrutiny, and it may have been difficult for Meghan to find herself the junior partner, despite what she may have regarded as her greater professional accomplishments. âKate made a success of her role because she came from a solid middle-class background and was prepared to play the game,â said the insider. Another Palace source said: âSome people were very snobby about Kate when she arrived, but she kept her head down and got on with it.â
A source who knows the royal family well remembers having a conversation with Harry and Meghan after their engagement, telling them: âDo things in your own way in the system, but I just donât think you can do it half in, half out.â
The problem, another source suggested, was that âMeghan didnât understand what she was letting herself in for, and why should she?â
Even the outpouring of affection for the monarchy occasionally bemused her. During the Sussexesâ tour of Australia and the South Pacific in 2018, hundreds of people turned out to wait outside the Sydney Opera House to welcome the couple. A source claimed that Meghan said to the team: âWhat are they all doing here? Itâs silly.â âThey were like, âTheyâre here because they admire and support a monarch and an institution that youâre representing,â â the source said. âShe didnât get it.â
On the same tour, when Meghan rushed out of a market in Fiji, cutting short an engagement with female entrepreneurs, there was tension in the air, with Meghanâs mood suddenly changing. I was the royal correspondent covering that event for the travelling media and saw the duchess appear to have sharp words with her aides, who later claimed the brouhaha was because the market was hot and overcrowded. Sources have claimed she left because she was unhappy about the presence of a UN organisation promoting womenâs empowerment, with which she had worked before. Her lawyers denied this and said she met other leaders from UN Women later in the tour.
âWhy is Meghan the way she is?â asked a senior royal source. âA very weird childhood is definitely part of it. She raised herself for much of it, living with her father for a long time and looking after him. The no friends at the wedding was quite a telltale sign. Sheâs really smart, if she could have seen the use of that inside the institution. She wanted to be âAâ list â the royal family is beyond âAâ list â but she wanted it the BeyoncĂ© way, without restrictions. She was never up for royal life. Right from the start, she courted rejection.â
Lawyers for the duchess said this was wrong, that Meghan wished to be accepted and had left her life in in North America to commit to her new role.
Transplanted to Britain, Meghan grew increasingly isolated and not even a royal birth could save her. There was rejoicing at the arrival of Archie Mountbatten-Windsor in May 2019, but the pregnancy was marked by cruel and often ridiculous abuse in some sections of the media and across social media, where she was accused of âflauntingâ her baby bump and of patting her stomach excessively. No wonder Meghan was driven to remark in a television interview with ITVâs Tom Bradby: âI really tried to adopt this sensibility of the British stiff upper lip, but I think that what that does internally is probably really damaging. I never thought this would be easy, but I thought it would be fair.â
In the same interview, Harry revealed the couple were thinking of relocating âat least part-timeâ to Africa. âI will not be bullied into playing a game that killed my mum ⊠For me and my wife, of course thereâs a lot of stuff that hurts, especially when the majority of it is untrue.â A senior courtier thinks the idea of spending time away at that stage was a missed opportunity: âA sabbatical in Africa would have benefited everyone.â
As the war of words turned ugly last week, friends lined up to talk about the Meghan they know, who they say has been wildly misrepresented. Sandra Wheatle was Meghanâs make-up artist on the US drama Suits. Wheatle, from Toronto, suffered an aneurysm in 2015 and said Meghan was âwonderful ⊠She was the first person that turned up [in hospital] after my family. There she was in ICU, sitting rubbing my hand. I was blown away by how kind she was. Iâll never forget the nurse saying, âShe was like a little mouse in the corner, she just sat there waiting for you to open your eyes.ââ
Wheatle does not recognise descriptions of a diva or bully: âIf you are a strong independent woman, some people donât take to that kindly.â
The pair stayed in touch until Meghan moved to the UK in 2017, when she explained she would no longer be able to remain in contact.
Meghanâs Suits co-star Patrick Adams put it more bluntly on Friday in a Twitter tirade against the monarchy: âShe has always been a powerful woman ⊠and has never been afraid to speak up, be heard and defend herself and those she holds dear ⊠She fell in love, moved to a new country ⊠and began the difficult work of trying to find her place in a family dynamic that can at best be described as complicated and at worst, seemingly archaic and toxic. Itâs OBSCENE that the royal family ⊠is promoting and amplifying accusations of âbullyingâ against a woman who herself was basically forced to flea [sic] the UK in order to protect her family and her own mental health.â
Whether the royal family could have done things differently will be debated indefinitely. Of the coupleâs desire to carry out part-time royal duties while earning a crust across the pond, a courtier conceded: âThis isnât a modernised monarchy and it hasnât totally figured out how to move with the times, but you donât turn a submarine quickly. They wanted to rush it and boxed us into a corner.â But it is hard not to think that the main task of warning Meghan of the perils she would face should have fallen to Harry. Some of the princeâs friends and advisers attempted to warn him of the battles ahead. âI and others tried to speak with him to say, âAre you sure youâre doing the right thing?â,â a former aide said. âBut he didnât want to hear it.â
The prince and his wife and son departed for the US last year with a hard âMegxitâ, leaving a flurry of lawsuits behind them. Meghan scored a victory in her privacy suit against The Mail on Sunday last month, but no amount of legal redress is likely to alter the reality of the royal familyâs problem with outsiders.
For the second time in a century, an American interloper dared to fall in love with a prince, and swiftly departed with her husband in tow. The 1936 abdication crisis was caused by King Edward VIIIâs love for the American divorcee Wallis Simpson. The stakes are not as high for Harry but his brother will one day be king, and the monarchy will surely be the poorer if the brothers are still estranged.
Meghan seems to feel she never stood a chance of satisfying Harryâs camp. In her interview with Oprah she makes clear she still smarts from having some phone conversations supervised; of feeling that the couple were unable to âmake our own choicesâ; of being unable, as âan adult who lived a really independent lifeâ, to say yes to an interview request. âIâm ready to talk,â she tells Oprah. A Palace aide responds: âTin hats on.â
