Thought I should probably share the fic I’m working on here!!

Will Byers has accepted that Mike Wheeler will never love him the way he does Mike, and that's fine! he'll move on! he's just Will's Tammy! Vecna and The Mind Flayer are still out there and Will has more important things to focus on than an overwhelmingly unrequited crush on his childhood best friend.
But it's hard to move on when you've spent the past eighteen months living with said best friend,
and it's even harder to move on when a portal to the upside down spits out a version of him from an alternate universe who just so happens to be madly in love with the alternate universe version of you.
William Byers is one of his generations most prolific wielders of magic, so when a mysterious dark force threatens his realm, he and his party must embark on a quest to stop it. It should be easy enough, they've taken on plenty of adventures like this before,
at least, that's what he thought before that wretched dark force spirited away his beloved paladin.
