I’ve been slowly removing things having to do with my ex out of my life and sometimes I feel guilty after I delete pictures or throw away stuff. Like wow this is really it huh? :(

it may not be the end of the world, but it is the end of a world i thought i was going to have

I work at a PT clinic and as a was hooking up a patient to e-stem I asked her how her day was and what she had done. She told me that she went to her writing group this morning so I of course I asked her what they wrote about. They write about their life experiences and then share them with each other. For example she said they wrote about a time when there was “turbulance” in their life. Another example is their first love, first heart break, etc. I asked her what they did with it and she said that they keep it and once they pass it will go to their kid(s). A person in her group passed away last month and she said that at the funeral they made sure to tell the kids to find her notebook. I just thought it was really neat how their kids or grandkids will be able to read all those stories they’ve written down.
