Episode 30 “I Can Be a Thousand Ball Bearings”

- first not is I thought I named this episode “Oh, to be a Thousand Ball Bearings” but oh well

- Starting off strong with swamp ass

- Bret’s a terrible clapper

- I hate roll 20. I keep trying to use it and it just doesn’t work for me.

- Bret’s quiet but oh well.

- My Dming the combat is off a little because I was trying to get roll 20 to work for me and the tokens were not complying.

- Referencing Benjy for the first time in forever

- Bret’s gone for like ten minutes. So we reference “Isaac’s rule” which is when a player takes longer than like 3-4 minutes to pick what they do in combat their character takes the Dodge action.

- If you can’t plan out your next move during everyone’s else’s turn and update as needed then you’re slowing down the session.

- Unless you’re a new player then it’s understandable it’ll take you some time to adjust and learn. Or if you’re playing a completely new class to you and just haven’t adjusted yet.

- As always I zone out while listening to our combat. So don’t expect too many notes on it haha.

- We all started coughing and dying while laughing so hard.

- I haven’t played destiny in years. But that game had a large impact on me and I love the characters and play style. Sad it went the way it did.

- Me Rolling a Critical on the wizards attack and just sitting there like. This is gonna kill someone. And im just sitting still. Thank god for Gideons Glucose guardian for buying him Adamantin armor.

- Bret talking to his wife. I’ve only met Sayde once. And don’t think we even talked. Who knows what she thinks of bret and me haha.

- My random tables are quite chaotic and o never know. Somehow I must have cut what we rolled after Haskell’s nat 20 on one table. Then we rolled a 49 on my large encounter.

- We run into the Fjorbs group from our text based in the discord.

- We will never know what happened to the ball bearings.

- Not all our episodes have had haskell. One of them Jacque was unable to play. Back at like episode 11 or so

- Who was the worse influence? Theren or Haskell?

Episode 29 “Yip Yips”

- making fun of bret everytime he gets on these days

- Just item discussion at the beginning

- I’m building a character for a one shot Bret’s running while I start this session.

- Gideon is thiccc

- Gunner is my go to npc now to appear randomly at anytime.

- Carson was the first player to meet gunner.

- Whipcord lean is my favorite body type. Cause i wish I was that type

- Gideon has been in prison ha

- Has asking about a nightwalker was great. Wasn’t prepped for that.

- Fjorbs started as a random text based anyone could join. And now is a central part of Eamyns lore that will seep in.

- Time traveling is a fucking confusing thing but also fun to just play with. Though I’ve always hated time traveling episodes in shows.

- I had way too much fun this episode

- Gideon asking about jelly and jam is my favorite

- Gunner has a nice ass

- Figuring out Darkvision.

- Why do my pleasures think the worst of me. My laughs are not that chilling.

- I wish I could say words.

- Saying you take a point of exhaustion then having to google it.

Episode 28- A Cacophony of Metal

- really just love the sound of Cacophony just a good word for my mouth noises to make. Cacophony.

- Bret was only 7 minutes late. But late is late

- “That’s fair”

- Erehwonn. Or nowhere.

- I did not hear or read this letter From Theren ahead of time at all

- Bret knowing there’s no way I’m replacing his live reading with a recording.

- All his errors I consider canon.

- Even the BLERRRRGH

- Carson and Jacque were in the same room for this one using one mic. Jacque muted them both on discord for the whole reading but didn’t mute their audacity file so I def left all the laughter in.

- Theren just sending gideon the letter for haskell as a backup is a great joke

- My short letter to Gideon has a few backstory references that will become apparent when we do his backstory.

- Megara appearance (or however he spells it) Bret’s dog.

- Random convo.

- Bret’s grandma is one tough cookie. Getting shot and still just walking down the road.

- “Are you gonna touch them” is a really ominous thing for me to say. And not subtle

- I’m so good at describing things like hats.

- People still haven’t posted all their character sheets on the new channel

- Decomposing eaten corpses.

- We may never know how or why these goblins came in and out of Errehwonn regularly

- I’m making such a point of haskell not touching the goblins. To then have their spirit companion say hey there’s something here. Railroading possibly. I’m not subtle. I mean they didn’t have to listen to Jo I mean… haha

- Sunshine at night spend a long time at Fjorbs.

- Lots of 17 and 22 rolls.

- I love dungeon world so much. Future campaigns may start leaning toward dungeon world and similar games. So if you follow us for just dnd stuff be aware the game systems will switch here and there.

- Bret realizing is stunning save dc is higher than he thought because of his magical belt is a prime example to read all your stuff every session.

Fjorbs Side adventures- Late Fees pt. 2 Bardic inspiration but at what cost.

- Theres so much talking over each other in the start. It’s fun.

- Bret playing Alexander is one of my favorite. but he’s also louder than the rest of us ha

- Mixed communication. It’s the most adhd for us to talk over each other and then also forget what was said a moment ago

- For most travelers through Fjorbs portal it’ll take you somewhere close to where you wanna go usually. Sometimes it takes you somewhere nowhere near. But Alexander is precise and the portal does as he wishes.

- Me eating gummies every single session is a fun thing I don’t do quite as much as last year.

- Text from Carson to bret as they just speak inside jokes to each other.

- It’s not a reference I get so I don’t give a crap

- I’m basically describing Hive Acolytes from the Destiny games.

- I had been DMing for a year when this was recorded. I’m at 2 years as of now in real life. In the early days I used a ton of home brewed creatures and monsters I found on Pinterest. These days I’ve just started to make all my own monsters and such.

- Lots of monk discussion. Carson and I both absolutely love our monks. It’s a lot

- This is back when Bret’s audio cut out constantly. Glad we are past that

- Letting Alexander have a Vorpal sword was so much fun

- Using a rock to cast bardic inspiration is so freaking good and the funniest thing in the world to me.

- Decent combat I just don’t have as much to say during combat scenes ha. Should have been more descriptive

- There’s so much that’s in this late fees episode that connects with the main campaign. Recorded a year apart and was not even planned when I decided to put this as a filler. Coincidence is great.

- If you haven’t ever watched the music video for “actual cannibal Shia Lebouf”. You need to

- Lade Kilson Blademaster from another world. My npc from a previous campaign in the world of Wheel of Time was a ladies man. So it’s really funny with Bret and Carson both being worried about playing females around him.

- The entrance to Fjorbs is whenever the members of the guild need it most.

- Back when we were confused about tabaxi and their Darkvision

- title of the episode should have been “the one we picked on bret”

- In the discord if you noticed a persons name changed randomly it’s due to something in a session or text based.

- Cameo by little Arion. Everytime I put the headset on him and someone speaks he gets so confused

- Now bret is super loud

- God campaign is a level 25 home brew super “one shot” just to test out my skills to counter what my players can come up with. We recorded episode one in 2022. Now have recorded episode two. The final episode may be recorded in 2024 ha.

- 2 out of 3 of my kids have to stay alive. Then Jacque didn’t even bring in my two kids.

I forgot to upload the updated look for Haskell. Before they leave Durgha, they choose less feminine looking armor and cut their hair.
