I feel like Toshi would like that you’re an independent person. I feel he’d appreciate that you can do things on your own, and you don’t need him or others to always help or do things- not that he doesn’t mind helping you, etc. it’s just he already has a lot of shit to do, it’s admirable to see someone who is independent, etc.
Toshi is also pretty straight to the point- if he thinks it, he’ll say it. Unless he has to keep his mouth shut for certain situations, or act differently. Sometimes people think he’s just an asshole because of this, but that is just how he is. It’s better to be straight up and to the point then dance around things- if you’re also this way, he’s probably pretty glad you likely understand him when he is straight to the point and you might know it’s not his intention to be rude but to be straight with people.
I don’t think he’s too much of a touchy-feely kind of person unless he really loves you. He appreciates you trying- but it’s not like he’d die without it because he’s just not that into it either way. But give him a hug or rub his shoulders every so often and he’s like ;)))
He isn’t too laid back of course and he’s always working. So having someone who actually is is a nice balance. You can tell him “yo it’s time to stop.” and he might just. I think you both can help each other when it comes to being laidback and more serious- you can help one another.
Toshi likes to write poetry, which is a type of art, so he’d like to see your art. Hopefully, you don’t make fun of his poetry too much lmao- but I can imagine y’all just spending an evening together, quiet but with small, nice conversation with both of you doing your thing, AKA. Writing poetry and painting.
He’s a very honest person, which I think comes with him being straight to the point as well. There is no beating around the bush with him and he will always try to be honest, so no worries about that.
