I mean, she's a character with so much untapped potential. The plot could revolve around her secretly investigating The Family to destroy each member of that organization one by one, with her vengeance not limited to just Simmons.

The Family is an ancient organization with an absurd amount of weight in global geopolitics. Capcom is missing out by not exploring more of its history and workings. Because Helena works for the DSO and The Family influences US politics, this could make her investigation dangerous, but she could still use that to her advantage somehow.

There could be other main and supporting characters, like Leon, Sherry, and Hunnigan—because of the whole DSO thing—and even Chris and Jill (I need to see Helena befriend them both), but the focus would be on Helena.

They only did not meet in 2012 because Helena's transfer to the DSO was canceled and she was transferred to the Secret Service.

Then, through a sequence of strange coincidences and people in common, a year later Leon went to Tall Oaks because of the president on the very day that Helena was there for the same reason.

They finally met, but not in the best circumstances.

Helena lived in Tall Oaks the same experience that Leon lived in Raccoon City.

They were framed together and traveled to the other side of the world only to defeat Simmons. All this so that in the end Leon himself would personally invite Helena to join the DSO at his side.

Well, I listen to a lot of songs that remind me of Heleon (any song can be a Heleon song if we put enough effort into it) and these are some that I often listen to or when I'm writing a story about them:

The National – This Is The Last Time. (This could be the official Heleon theme song by the way).

Foy Vance – She Burns.

The Favors – The Hudson.

Ida Maria – Keep Me Warm.

The Smashing Pumpkins – By Starlight.

And my top 5 RE characters are:

Helena Harper.

Leon S. Kennedy.

Claire Redfield.

Jill Valentine.

Chris Redfield.

She is indeed important to the story, practically the entire RE6 story revolves around her and Ada. The campaign tells Helena's story. A story that was even referenced in Requiem itself, with that whole thing about the president's death (a death that is directly linked to Helena).

As a longtime fan, I do want to see Helena in other productions besides a possible RE6 Remake, but Capcom hates her so much that they refuse to even put her on the franchise's 30th-anniversary poster—while other characters, who had less screen time and less importance than her, appeared. Therefore, I don't expect to see her in a movie or another game after the RE6 remake comes out. In fact, I don't even expect to see her again after this.

There's no justification for the hate she receives. It's all so disproportionate and senseless that it's extremely disrespectful to the character and to all the people who worked to bring her to life.

One complements what the other lacks.

They are completely opposite people, but with a relatively similar past, and this led to an instant connection and exceptional synergy between them.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if one of Hunnigan's intentions in recruiting Helena to the DSO was for her to complete the emotional part of Leon that he abandoned in the past, while he would complement the rational part of her that she needed to mature.
