~PURE DENIM~

A favorite pair of jeans. Levi's Cone Mills, Made in USA, limited edition selvedge jeans. An amusing story surrounds these jeans. I gave them to my neighbor, Kevin to wear and break in for me. Kevin wore them everyday for nearly a year. However, a month after I handed him this pair, I noticed Kevin wearing a pair of odd, cheap tan pants. I asked him, "What happened to the jeans?" He said, he left them at the sink area down the hall in the apartment building and somebody took them. I set out trying to find them and eventually after asking all my neighbors, I finally gave up. One day, one of my neighbors had left his apartment door open while he was visiting another tenant down the hall. There sat these jeans, in plain view, stolen from Kevin! What did I do? What could I do? I stole them back and gave them back to Kevin after seeing that the jeans had already been heavily washed and nearly ruined with sweet smelling fabric softener. A year later, and a year's worth of continuous wear, I purchased back these jeans from my neighbor Kevin. I've kept them in original shape to this day!

I'm guessing these jeans are around $20,000.00. Maybe more?

Someone has GOT to scoop this up. Circa 1972 bell bottoms won't come around like this again, complete with tags and a price that is unheard of from that era.
