Not wanting to cause Eric any further stress or he got angry, Art admitted that he had fought Hoffman again out of sheer frustration and stress. Art couldn't bring himself to share his problem, leaving him to shoulder the burden entirely on his own.

Hearing this, Eric tried to calm Art down. He attempted to set aside his own emotions—even though he desperately wanted to retaliate—but he respected Art’s wishes and listened to his boyfriend.

Art generally preferred formal outfit, but he wanted Eric to try a different look; he suggested a casual style—an aesthetic Eric actually enjoyed (and likely adopted whenever he was off-duty). Art was initially surprised, fearing Eric might look odd, but he soon realized that Eric looked attractive in anything he wore.

If asked which of Eric's outfits Art love, it was the leather jacket—specifically, the kind that resembled a biker jacket (he think Eric looks hot wearing that). Because Art favored that look, Eric wore it more frequently, especially when they were setting out to kidnap someone on Hoffman's orders.
