i think one of the most fun things about vrains is that nearly every character is written as though they're autistic. both yusaku and revolver do the "three things" thing (and yusaku in general-like. i'd heard him described as vengeful and mean but honestly i'd sooner describe him as really blunt and not caring at all about social cues. kind of guy to tank a conversation just to leave it sooner. king shit tbh). the dub adds a fixation for kusanagi on the defintion of a sandwich and also adds a bit about soulburner processing conversations through the lens of duel monsters. and that's not getting into how at least half the ignis absolutely read as autistic. like. incredible show in that regard

The fact the 5DS World Championship games roughly take place after each other is really funny when you consider each game has a different protagonist, and that no other character outside of the 1st Protag learns about the plot of Stardust Accelerator.

this has always confused me what do you mean you’re going to satellite for a shopping trip. what do you mean you’re going from the isolated desert town in the middle of nowhere to. An island? An island that’s like. Super destroyed? For a shopping trip? you (the player character) meet team satisfaction while you’re there so. So this specific shopping trip has to be pre-canon, which means no bridge which means they had to have had a boat? There’s no way crash town is connected to satellite that wouldn’t make any sense. It is treated like an all-day trip which I guess is fair but also? Why go to satellite and not the city? How did they even get there? If it’s that easy as to go there and back for shopping then why is it so hard to leave? How far is crash town from the city anyway? I always assumed it was somewhere super far off and isolated. I mean one thought i had to try and reconcile this was like “well they do have a small area of sand dunes in Japan so it could be near that” but also no it couldn’t? For one that doesn’t make any sense. Two, that’s not even an actual desert and it’s way too small for what we see? And also crash town is in a super dry mountainous area it’s not sandy it’s rocky. we know crash town is a mining town and
