My parents were mostly great and I'm pretty lucky in regards to most of the ways they raised me co-parenting BUT, I'd like to teach them what a healthy relationship is, including with food, substances etc etc. I wasn't diagnosed with autism until I was an adult because I was basically taught to 'act normal' and I hope that's never something I make my child experience. I know I'll make lots of mistakes but I hope my children will know they are loved and cherished and have my support.
