The week is done, When all the petals fall off, one-by-one. Fallen Pieces. The time is not the end of their joy. In fact, if you lightly shake the wilting rose, those vulnerable velvet pieces will come to you, and cover you. Knowing this, I collected the petals in a bowl (symbolizing a clock!) and began to make my wishes, and cast my spells. I dream about my passed-away babydog a lot. I hear him barking, and playing, when I am in a deep sleep -so deep that it sinks me into my bed. I listen to his voice, and hear it, with my heart. When I think about him, and tear the veil of life away, I find the feeling of stillness. This quiet sweetness allows me to take a deep breath, reset my intentions, and prioritize. When I ask about #love of, and for, #animals I think of their faces reflected in his little face, their eyes and batting eyelashes are identical to his, and their hearts are identical to ours.
