tears on library books

It was cool to find out about the stuff day shift does that we don't and my new coworkers were all really nice. I picked up the new tasks pretty quickly and the lady explaining it to me kept announcing to everyone how well I was doing 😭♥️ then when I was on my dinner break before the start of evening shift the evening assitant team lead came to find me and tell me that the day shift team lead had stopped by to pay me a compliment! And she was like "I'm not surprised. You're a very pleasant colleague and super smart" 🥺🥺 safe to say I was basking in it today.

Also had a very funny moment when I was working on my coworker's computer because I don't have all of the necessary access yet – I'd been going for at least 15 minutes, and had only really been copy-pasting but then I needed to ctrl+z, and it didn't work so I looked down at the keys. Hey. I don't see a Z. There's no Z there. So I let my eyes scan the rest of the keyboard – "Oh my god, you have an azerty keyboard!" It was such a mindfuck lmfao, we had a good laugh. After that I had to type a couple of short emails and had to look down at the keyboard essentially the entire time. Made me realize how little I usually depend on that. I did feel like I was starting to get the hang of it after a while though, I could probably get used to it pretty quickly. I once had a phone with a qwertz keyboard and I got the hang of that in no time.
