2 years ago and today 💪🏼

Just a few pictures of updates of Levi’s chest, forever proud of him for all his patientlce through waiting for surgery for years and now for his up and down recovery! But he’s mended and started his new job and on the road to a happy successful life and I’m so grateful to be a part of it 🥰

Levi’s surgery went well he had both surgeons Nantos and Dabritz doing the surgery, one on each side apparently! We had arrived Monday night and he had surgery Tuesday morning, his mum and I were told there was no point in waiting in the hospital so we left and tried to occupy ourselves, food shopping and trying not to worry! We phoned at 3 and were told he was in Ward F3 and we could come see him (the amount of times we got lost in the hospital was unreal) He was just sitting there so sad looking I was so emotional and I realised shortly after he was just so out his face on meds 🤣 The drains were a nightmare!! But this has opened up different chapters of love I hadn’t experience yet.. When you get married they say “in sickness and in health” and that’s exactly what love is all about you having care and compassion for your beloved and doing things they can’t when they are ill! (Inc wiping for them when they can’t reach due to the major surgeries🤣) He has been staying at his mums since we came back on the Friday and I have been driving there at the weekends to spend time with him but the bandages come off on Thursday and hopefully I can bring him back to mines on the Sunday 😭 I’m so happy for him now and all the things he can achieve now that he’s had his surgery! Things you wouldn’t even think he was being held back from ❤️

Thats us awake and to be at the hospital for 7:30 am! I am bricking it to say the least ☹️ I will post as soon as it’s done! Exciting times!!!

Some pictures of our weekend! We had lots of fun just being in each other’s company doing something different, even if it meant having blisters on my heels 🤦🏼‍♀️

sorry I haven't posted in a while, kept so busy with other things I forgot! so Levi now has a start date for his new job at HSBC and will be full time as of April! I have also decided to take on another year of studying through work and complete my SVQ level 4 so exciting times ahead! whilst i was away we enjoyed a valentines weekend in Glasgow and we walked around finding all the murals and enjoyed a meal at VIVA, finished off by staying the night at the newly built MOXY hotel. We both had a lovely time and chilled the rest of the weekend! some pictures to follow :)

So a lot has happened since the last post, Levi has been getting his new testosterone injections and has had his pre op assessment in Manchester, we went together and discussed with the surgeon about the risks and complications. Didn’t put him off, this is something that he needs to do. But today at work on my lunch break I find myself in tears after looking at someone’s before and after pictures of top surgery and their nipples and I don’t know why I’m upset? I want him to be happy within himself, to be able to walk around binder free and to not have people second guessing him!! But a small part of me doesn’t want him to do it, I’m scared trying make sure he doesn’t see my fear because I’m scared for him, it’s a major surgery and I know the surgeons are well trained but you still have that horrible worrying feeling especially when it’s someone you really care for. Fingers crossed we get this operation done and out the way 💛

That is what he asked me this morning, it’s really breaking my heart watching him go through all these emotions. I just want him to be happy with himself because I will be happy for him no matter whether it’s 2 chin hairs or a full beard. It’s been a long journey for him and I’ve only come in half way through so I know how it feels that it’s been forever but big changes are coming his way I know it ☺️🤞🏼
