Fall in love with someone who wants you, who waits for you. Who understands you even in the madness; someone who helps you, and guides you, someone who is your support, your hope. Fall in love with someone who talks with you after a fight. Fall in love with someone who misses you and wants to be with you. Do not fall in love only with a body or with a face; or with the idea of being in love.

I need a life that isn’t just about needing to escape my life.

1. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Learn to laugh at your mistakes.

I believe the most difficult situation you can be ever be faced with is deciding whether you should just move on or hold on a little tighter. Move on, and maybe you’ll lose a chance at the best thing that could have ever happened, or hold on, and have the possibility of one day being the biggest disaster ever created.

And it’s hard to watch things change when all you want for them is to stay the same. It’s funny but stupid how you want everything and nothing at the same time. It’s crazy when you want to let go but you keep holding on and when you want to move on but you’re stuck right where you started. When feelings come and go and you can’t decide what you want. When you have so many things to say but you don’t know where to start. When you want them in your life so bad but all you can do is push them farther and farther away. It’s so hard to think back to how things used to be and look at it now and realize that things are different and they may never be the same. You tell yourself it’s not worth it but if it didn’t really matter you wouldn’t spend so much time thinking about it.
