I left uni three years ago and since then I've experience immeasurable growth. I am a visual learner and most schooling systems don't allow for or accomodate that type of learning - unless you're doing an arts degree. I already find it difficult to concentrate in general so having someone talk at me for 3hrs+ in a lecture is disastrous for me. I was also only 17 at the time and had just completed 12 years of schooling and felt pressured to go to university. I honestly think everyone should take at least a year break before continuing their education after school. I have a few ideas about what I want to do, but I'm still ultimately undecided. Uni is not for everyone & that's totally fine, you don't have to go to university to be "successful" I've realised that as I've grown, I've also stopped putting pressure on myself and it's the best feeling.

This is elvis. He is smarter than your family dog. Just like all cows he displays advanced cognitive abilities and a high degree of emotional intelligence. He can feel miserable, elated, anxious and frustrated. He is extremely cheeky and boisterous where as his brother Pedro is more timid and reserved. He, like us, is an individual. He has his own personality, his own likes/dislikes and unique traits. His life is valuable. When you eat meat or consume dairy you support an industry that places no value on animals lives.

Lil snap I got the other week of these hunnies at Deathrow Unchained. Bonnie and Clyde have been with the rescue, (which is now their permanent and forever home) since they were less than a week old. Both were taken from their mum and destined for a very short life, however they are now in the best care possible - which is evident in how big they've grown in such a small period of time. Sadly they are only part of the small percentage of farm animals who will get to live out their days free of pain and suffering. It has been nothing but an absolute pleasure watching these two cheeky babies grow into their unique personalities. Deathrow unchained is a non for profit animal rescue that is home to a number of dogs and cats as well as a number of farm animals that include, calfs, pigs, horses and lambs.
