❝Joseph! Hey I’m home!❞

Johnny walked through the doors and dropped his things. He was greeted by his kittens and the puppies. ❝Hey y’all, miss me~?❞ He picked them both up and ended up getting licks as a form of welcome back.

❝Now where’s yer owner?❞ He looked at Pork ‘n Beans and walked over to the bedroom. He peeked in and rolled his eyes.

Typical..

He walked over and dropped the two pups onto the bed. He sat down on the edge ❝Hey sleepy head, wake up.❞

Grumbling in his half-asleep state even as the pups bounced all over him, Joseph waved a hand dismissively at the voice he had yet to register as the cousin who’d been gone for over a week.

Rolling over onto his stomach, Joseph attempted to ignore the excitable squeaks and yelps from the dogs besides him, but the sudden chaos meant that falling back asleep now would probably be impossible. Especially now that food had been brought into the occasion. 

Pushing himself up awkwardly with his one good arm, he turned to glance at the source of the voice, hesitating for only a moment before snapping awake and alert almost immediately.

He contemplated on the other’s words. He wondered if he’ll even go to the weddings that’ll happen. Sure he’ll go to the ones his friends invite him to, but to go to one as many as he could. That’s.. rather odd.

He shook his head ❝Just ones I’m invited to.❞

Would it be bad for him to admit he always thought they looked kind of boring? He was sure it would be different if he weren’t just sitting in the crowd or watching them in  movie, but he found it difficult to focus on something that moved so slow, even if the concept was pretty sweet.  

❝Thanks…❞ He cleared his throat as he picked his glass back up and took a small sip. He’s met Erina and she’s a kind lady. There would be times where she’d scold Joseph despite him being there. It would be nice if he saw her once again. She’s nice to talk to whenever Joseph wasn’t around to entertain his guest.

Well.. she’s telling the truth. Never saw him all dressed up though.

❝Well I’m glad you made it in time then.❞ He looked around once more ❝Outdoor wedding.. It sure is nice…❞ He’s seen these kinds of weddings before. His old students used to talk about it; how it’ll be romantic and such. Since he’s such a sucker for romance, he’ll agree to the choices. He even got pulled into conversations like these.

❝Don’t you think outdoor weddings are nice? Or just once in general?❞ He smiled ❝..Aoba sure is lucky and so is Noiz..❞ He lets out a heavy sigh and twirl the glass gently.

“I guess it is,” he mumbled, nodding his head slightly in agreement as he turned to view the event going on around them. “Never been to any other kind though. This is the first one. So unless we’re countin’ movies and stuff, this wedding’s the best I’ve ever been to by default.”

Personally he didn’t know the couple -- he vaguely recalled having a rather childish discussion about ice cream with the blue haired one a while ago, but that was it -- though they seemed happy, and that was all that really mattered, right?

He leaned back a bit to look up at the taller male. He smiled and placed his hands on his face to cup his cheeks.

This is fine. Perfectly fine.

Joseph’s hugs were always the best. It’ll feel so nice and since he had the perfect warmth and body size for it, it made it even better. He would always feel better the instant the other would grant him a hug. It was rather selfish, but he didn’t seem to deny it.

“Of course they are.”

Unsure as to whether he should pull away or not, Joseph merely stayed exactly where he was, resting his chin on top of Rin’s head. It was kind of unusual for the older male to cling to him out of nowhere like that, so he figured the hug was well needed. He’d stay there for as long as the other liked.
