"I fucked up again.."

The sand is surprisingly not as warm as he would have thought underneath his feet as he walks out onto the beach. Adrian’s surely a sight to be seen on the beach in shorts and jacket instead of swimwear, but he had already decided he’d be doing very little swimming on this outing so it didn’t matter. The teen sighs eyes scanning up and down the beach looking for the red head who had invited him out to do this today despite his plans to study for an upcoming test. People were walking along the sand most in pairs or a group but Rin was no where to be found. He sighs again for probably about the twelfth time that day and decides to wait a few more minutes before he heads back to his apartment.

Most of the time, Rin was absentminded. He really should almost always be paying attention where ever he went, but that usually didn't happen which was probably why he ended up in this sort of situation. He had decided to grab a  chocolate mocha while he was out at the local coffee shop.Under normal circumstances, Rin didn't need an extra amount of coffee to help boast himself. He got well over the average 8 hours of sleep, so he was usually well rested. However, as of late he had kept himself making sure that annoying cat of his wasn't wondering around trying to sneak out, so he ended up staying up later than what he was used to.

The fact he was even trying to make himself go to class in this condition was a surprise, but one would see how long that idea actually stuck with him. So when he finally heard the people announce the order for Rin was ready, he looked up with happiness, and made his way over to the counter only to stop and stare dumbfounded as some other guy was grabbing his believed to be order.

Truthfully, Nagisa had always thought that he had a special relationship with his childhood friend. It was not a strong kind of friendship but a unique one. After all, the blond viewed Rin as a brotherly figure.

So there they were, at the beach, reminiscing about their hometown. Lying down on the warm sand, Nagisa commented on the beautiful sunset that was in front of them.

"Rin-chan, this reminds me a lot of Iwatobi!"

He heard a grunt in response, and laughed. The blond wanted to sit up to enjoy the sunset in better view, but was pressed down by his companion.
