Unlike his usual tasks, his task today was to meet up with this specific item finder that the museum hired, to retrieve the artifact. His job was to bring the artifact back to the museum safely, and to make sure that the item was the real deal. The information he got was very vague from his higher up. The only thing he knew or was even told was that the ring belonged to a women from a long long while ago, and that it said that it was worth a lot.
He checked his phone to see where the correct address was, and decided that somewhere private would be a good location to handle things like this. He raised his hand so that he could hail a cab. Once he was successful, he slipped inside and headed out to their destination.
After a good thirty minutes of driving around the city in the traffic, he finally made it; he stepped out of the car, paid for his fare and headed inside the building. He had the person's number just in case he wasn't waiting out in the lobby for him. And of course, he saw no one that looked like he digs up artifacts for a living, so he once again pulled out his phone and texted the known man. The text read:
Hello, this is Lu Han from the Ancient Chinese Museum. I was told to come get the artifact from you and I'm here at the lobby. I actually don't know where to go.. Ah, I'm wearing business attire at the moment just in case you can't find me.
He then sent the text, regretting if the text was too long and wordy, but this was a job that he didn't want to screw up. Especially since he just got promoted. He shoved his phone back into his pocket, and waited with his hands at his side.
